Best advice I can give

I'm sexy and I know it! Not I just have to get my body to agree with me.

Other than the depression comment (if it's real depression it's a ligit medical condition. Just "sucking it up" isn't an option) I agree with the rest.

HRM is usually more accurate than gym equipment. I don't have one yet :( so I use the number the equipment gives me or make a guess based on time x intensity.

Wait your BMR is 1960? That's the base number of calories you burn when you're sleeping. Your TDEE is the number of calories you burn including all your daily activities. Your calorie intake to lose weight should be below your TDEE but above your BMR.

If you're not getting your protein I'd say go for it. I'm a fan of Body Fortress which is 26g protein and 140 calories per scoop.

New Rules of Weightlifting for Women! I've started it recently and my workouts really don't take long. The exercises concentrate on large muscle groups rather than isolations so you spend less time in the gym without lessening your results (unless you're looking for the competitive bodybuilder look where you'll need…

Try finding exercises that won't bother your back. Maybe take up walking or biking until the pain eases up.

I'm aiming for 40/30/30 for my lifting program so my protein target is 173 for my 193 lb frame.

Asparagus and hollandaise sauce!

Most definately. And seriously don't plan any skydiving cliff jumping (or even a tram trip) on your first day. You'll get altitude sickness and could get light headed and, depending on the severity, even pass out. I'd say plan for easier runs or maybe hiking if it's available. If you're still really wanting to run you…

MFP's base sugar allowance is set way too low. You can adjust it if you want or just ignore it. Seriously.

Drink a glass of water and go for a jog or a brisk walk (or any other form of exercise). You'll feel more fit and confident when you're done.

And miss all the fun?

Awesome job pushing yourself back into exercise!!!

Does your school offer a gym? Work out between classes. Or sign up for an exercise class (they're usually 1 credit and you can count 2-3 as electives even for most BA degrees depending on what your school allows)

I've been here months now and there were still a couple I wasn't sure about. Thanks!

At least the cat was the only thing on the toilet seat...

Put a dictionary under your pillow. You'll learn new words in your sleep.

I run on the treadmill. I stop, run down the hall, then get back to it. But that's not really an option if you're an outdoor runner.

Let's apply this to other aspects of our life. If it isn't your life's goal to be the next Donald Trump, you'd better quit your part time job at McDonalds. You're making way too much money there.

Thanks for the bashing, OP. Sure, world champion level lifters may be more than just buff. That didn't come just from some heavy lifting. That came from eating 3000+ calories a day, mainly in protein, and hours of training, specialized programs, etc. She is also genetically capable of bulking that much. Not all women are,…

You're amazing!!!

The fancy scales are NOT going to give you the right numbers! I got one that read my body fat at 33% during the time that I was in body sculpting got professionally tested at 22%.

Never trust a bunny. Especially the males...they spray...when I was growing up we had one you couldn't walk past his cage without getting sprayed. That's why I always chew rabbit stew extra hard.

Start with putting good fuel into your body. I'm not suggesting dumping all your favorite foods but try to fit in more fruits and veggies, whole grains, and all important protein. Putting better food into your body increases your energy output. And don't try to change everything at once. That's a recipe for failure. Take…

21 lb in 6 weeks? Is that a mistype?
