  • I used to do 2.5 hours of cardio and 30 mins of weights 6 days a week when I was 40 pounds overweight, It came off pretty quickly but I had to make sure I ate enough.
  • Scientifically speaking, the most muscle a woman can gain in a month is a maximum for 4 pounds, it is a little different for men but if you have gained more then 4 pounds just keep that in mind.

  • MFP has a really high carb allowance and horribly low protein allowance, you need to change your percentages. If you are working out and doing strength training you need to eat a lot of protein and it will only help you. I try to eat more protein than carbs and it has helped me a lot :)

  • How much lean protein are you eating? Most times people can't lose weight, they are eating a large amount of carbs and very little protein

  • I usually do breakfast lunch dinner at 300 calories each (approx) and two snacks usually 150-200. But I usually exercise so it bumps up my calories so I can eat more. If you add me you can look at my diary :)
  • Yepp, I like to think of fruit as natural candy/dessert and eat a few servings a day. Veggies are definitely the way to go for adding into every meal.
