I was in your same situation a few months ago. I am 5'1.5 and i weighed 163 and was 33% BF currently I am 145 and 25% bodyfat. I wear a between a size 4-6 now. I probably wont get below 130 without losing some muscle but that is ok. I remember before I ever started lifting I was 135lbs and wore a size 6-8 but now I am 10…

I use vitol egg white protein, it is very low in carbs and has no added sugar. You can go to luckyvitamin.com. There is also nectar whey protein that I like, it is very low in carbs as well and mixes easily :)

I didnt see much of a change until i cleaned up my diet. I got stronger but i still had a lot of bodyfat. Once I cleaned up my diet completely i lost 10lbs of fat in one month and maintained my strength and my muscles started coming through more. Weight lifting is great but without the diet it will be hard to see results…

When you eat low carb your body doesn't have enough carbs to use as fuel so it starts to burn your FAT for fuel. If you eat 100grams of carbs a day and stay under a certain calorie limit, your body is still storing those unused carbs as FAT. Low carb is more about fat loss then it is weight loss.

Weight means nothing! It's all about your body composition, you look amazing, great work!

Thank you for posting this, we should all work to make ourselves healthier and getting sensitive and angry isn't going to accomplish that. I really appreciated this post.

I almost threw up looking at the picture of that one model ugh

When lifting heavy I typically burn 1 calorie per minute even with short rest periods based on my hrm. So for a 60 min workout I generally burn around 600 calories--same as when i'm on the stair stepper or doing sprints.

I actually went through that program when I first started, its great to get you started because it focuses on some of the major compound moves. Right now i'm doing Natalie Jill's Super Shred, unfortunately its not free but it is the best program I have ever done you can google it and see what you think. Otherwise, Jamie…

Personally I do not use whey protein at all because of the method that the protein is extracted, it leaves a lot of heavy metals in the protein that we end up consuming. I use Vitol egg white protein it is all natural and sweetened with stevia and has bee pollen added to increase energy naturally. I love it and it is not…

I use vitol egg white protein, 24g a scoop and I do 2 scoops, a cup of cold coffee, and a tablespoon of creamer. It is amazing in the morning!

I usually start off with a 5-10 min light cardio warm-up, hit the weights really heavy and then do 25-30 mins of cardio at a moderate pace. I feel like that ensures that you can work really hard with the weights which is really important.

It wont help. You may lose weight but it will all come back, this is me talking from experience. Try some green tea pills

If you don't know a lot about weight training I would suggest this program. I have been using it and I know a lot of people who have had great results on it. :) http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/jamie-easons-livefit-introduction.html

I eat it every night. Helps with protein and keeps me full and I haven't gotten fat lol

I was looking for a different one, it was a girl that posed before and after pics of her friend who did nothing but lift heavy for 6 months and her weight didn't change much.

I just take my total calories burned from the HRM usually it is around 700 for a hard workout and i enter that into here and it bumps my from eating 1200 to 1900 calories. It's very simple don't worry about calculating your bmr and dividing anything. It is a great tool especially if you have 1 with a chest strap it has…

My body has changed so fast since I started lifting heavy, i love it! :)

I started at 165 and got down to 120 by pretty much starving myself and doing 2 hours of cardio a day. BIG MISTAKE. The weight came back very fast and before I knew it i was back up to 140. Since then I have started lifting weights and cut down on the cardio. Now I eat a lot of protein and veggies and some fruits. Ofcourse…

I found an amazing recipe that I use to get more protein too. I take 1/2 cup of 2% cottage cheese, 1 tablespoon and peanut butter and 1 teaspoon of natural honey. I blend it up and it makes a really nice yogurt type thing lol but it is amazing and it curbs my sweet tooth :)

I did 30-45 minutes of cardio a day and 30-45 mins of circuit training with heavy weights. I lost about 40 pounds over months while having 2 cheat days a week.
