Protein is much harder for your body to break down than carbs. I had the same problem. I used to have a binge eating problem when I first started mfp, recently I have stopped logging my foods and I have been doing much better and losing some more weight since I only eat when i'm hungry instead of saying oh I have 500 calories left to eat. The pita bread is something I thought about since i'm moving off campus so for lunch take pita bread, stuff it with all the good stuff and take it to go and also I am going to keep a tiny container for snacks like grapes or lowfat cheese sticks on the days when I have later classes. Really looking forward to it!

I just wanted so share since I know many people who live off processed foods and they are overweight and have high blood pressure and have had family members die of cancer. It's really easy to say everything causes cancer but for those that eat a turkey sandwhich everyday this is just something to think about :)
