    Not necessarily for weight loss because cardio doesn't make you lose weight, your diet does. But I would pick hiking. Because it's the most entertaining to me.

    Cardio burns calories - not exactly sure how that doesn't have any effect on weight loss. Please explain...

    My two faves are:
    #1 H.E.A.T. class which is circuit training, sprints, and running laps (and some circuits includes weights)

    #2 Ripped class which is quick paced cardio with a little of everything. Weights, pushups, jumping jacks, etc. Loud music, high energy, and tons of fun. (Zumba on crack?)

    Both burn over 1000 calories in an hour at my current weight so I take one or the other 4-5 days a wk

    Lap swim and water jogging. Personally, I think the best cardio is doing what you enjoy the most.

    My fav is jump rope and any kind of dance.

    Personal preference is a short intense run. 30 minutes at a very quick pace.
    Also 3 a side football for an hour is the most funnest and really hard work.
