Yes you are right. it is a "fun run"... Im not here to be competitive... im here for better health, including my family, helping charity, and being a good example for my children. I never thought i would say i miss running, but after doing the c25k and was sick for a few weeks, i truly do miss it. starting back at the gym and logging my foods today! I feel better about myself, my mood is better, and i am less tired when i was running at least three times a week.

also if you crave chocolate then try freezing a bag of hershey kisses.. then suck on them.. makes them last longer and you can satisfy that chocolate craving with just one... :) or freeze banana's and dip them in the hardening chocolate.. they are very yummy..

yes i have pictures that were taken pretty regularly throughout the year and i can definately see a difference... and you are right that does help :)

Thank you so much for that! My clothes are much more loose even though im not seeing it on the scale.. and it feels good when people make comments and can see that you are looking more fit and toned. Im working at it. I have signed up for a 5k in september so i am gonna keep pushing to reach my goals!

its not silly.. i absolutely know what you mean! The running is new for my body all together, i have never been a runner. I have always exercied in other ways like cycling or elipical or something... whew i was hurting in places i have never hurt b4

as an update.. as i have continued the exercise, i have ceased gaining but have hit a plateu. continuing to work on the diet and make healthier choices and push myself during thru the program. :)
