Wow! Congrats! Very similar road for me. I'm plugging away but can't break out of the 190's. It's hard to keep one's chin up when plateaued for so long, but your story is inspiring! God bless!

Wow. It's amazing what happens when one start to live instead of just exist! Congratulations to you for your efforts!

Wow! Congrats! Beautiful family! Keep on keeping on!

Was a customer of Directv since about 1997 or so. I cut that cord about 3+ years ago and haven't looked back. They didn't do anything to try to keep me (I was a LOYAL customer for over a decade). We were paying for crap we weren't watching. Besides, we were much more of a "movie" family anyway, so we switched to Netflix.…

What a wonderful feeling! I only made that threshold 2-3 weeks ago. What a journey made, and looking forward to the journey ahead! You can do it!

NICE! Congratulations for such a GREAT accomplishment!

Wow! Lovin' that! I think these kinds of NSVs are some of the best for the boost! :)

Great job!!! Fantastic progress!

Bump for later. :)

Fantastic! Rewards are gained through dedication, hard work and persistence! Inspiring!

I am 5'3" and I am ashamed to say that I started off in April at 227lbs. However, I am proud to say that I am now down to 197lbs and I'm still going. I've accomplished this by bootcamp 3-4x per week and eating PPW meals (protein, produce, and water). My (first) goal is 175lbs. When I get there, I'll re-evaluate what my…

I love this chart. This is a great chart and I personally needed to see it. I'm not as upset as the OP, but I am suffering something similar and had emailed my bootcamp trainer who essentially said something like this chart shows. I'll give myself more grace and more time and push through!
[Quoted from a previous post:] I typically don't like doughnuts (blasphemy, I know) but when I want one that's how I prefer it. What I really prefer is beignets and cafe au lait.
[End of quote from a previous post] ^^^^ THIS! OH YEAH!!!! Love me some Beignets! I guess I might make me some this weekend!…

Bumping to share with my Mom who suffers from sciatica (or some form of it).

Beautiful! Congratulations!

I'm so happy for you! No one should ever feel that hopeless ever! I'm so glad you have been able to accomplish to much and you are on the right path! Stay true to your goals! YOU are an inspiration now... to all of us who came to MFP after you did! I'm a frequent daily visitor to Success Stories as well. For the exact same…

I've only recently begun to get those kinds of comments at work. My church family has been noticing since about 10lbs ago. It's a great feeling to have someone finally notice your efforts without coaching them with your activities first! *high five*

Been on MFP since April. My favorite haunt on here is the Success Stories message board for inspiration and ONGOING motivation. I can say that I'm glad i joined. I stay off of some boards because they get pretty punchy with people debating back and forth about what's right and what's not. But it is all interesting to read.…

Awesome! Those are the NSVs that really matter. What an incredible boost and incentive to keep on keeping on!

^^This. The angrier I am, the better my aim. Of course, that probably doesn't bode well for me and some N S A surveillance program monitoring this thread, right? I've got all sorts of dead zombie targets though. Does that help?

Awesome job! The mind set is our biggest struggle sometimes isn't it? Our body knows what to do if our mind would just get out of the way, right? Happy for you. Stay on course, get healthy and live life with a smile! :)

VICTORY! Awesome! Congratulations to you!

The first thing that caught my eye about my husband (whom I met online and have been married to for 4 years now) was his "guns" (I LOVE STRONG biceps!), then he smiled (oh Yeeeaaahhhh). I adore his broad shoulders, strong arms... I lust after him when I get thinking about his physique. That's him kissing my neck in my…

A ray of hope for the rest of us! You look fabulous! And kudos to you for having been through so many pregnancies! I am hopeful now. Thank you!

I can identify with this as well. I HATED that I was so big that people thought I was carrying twins (which in my family was definitely a possibility, but ruled out by ultrasound). And what's even worse, is that I only gained enough weight to have barely been called a healthy pregnancy (in both cases!). So the weight gain…

So cool!!!! When you find out what NSV means, I'd like to know too! LOL! I've been on here since April and haven't had the courage to ask! *dork* :)

Inspiring! Beautiful!

Fantastic job! And you're braver than I! Keep going... don't let the plateaus discourage you... they're only a reminder to re-evaluate your action plan to re-affirm your next benchmark goal! You can do it!

I think my husband would agree with this. He's big on respect for sure (which, like trust, should be earned), and love/sex... well my husband would probably put those in reverse order.
