  • I'm just trying to get back to my pre pregnancy weight. Then the hard part starts
  • I'll add you. And I can always use more supportive people so anyone feel free to add me. Just mention this group in the request
  • That is really good. My grandfather is diabetic & I've watched him battle cancer twice, but in the end he lost a lot of weight, kept it off & is doing better. It's a process but you've already done more than most. I like to add supportive people who I can also give support. If that's you, you can send me a request
  • Very possible. Make sure you are exercising and eating right. I wouldn't get too disappointed if it didn't happen, just remember to live healthier and things will happen in time. The journey is different for everyone and depending on the stage you're at in life. When I first started on mfp I Los 50 pounds in 3 months.…
  • Great job. I've almost lost my 1 year old. She weighs 22 & I lost 15. Thanks for the reminder that all victories are big victories
  • We can be friends. I always try to encourage my pals on here. We could all use it sometimes
  • The sailor scouts and Yourichi form Bleach!! She is so cool!
  • Wanted to update, which I completely forgot yo do. We got pregnant way sooner than expected. I had a little girl who is now almost 3 weeks old. Don't give up. Remember, it happens when it's time, no sooner or later.
  • Thanks! That's great. You make me feel much better. I hope to get like you once I recover. I'm sure I can do it.
  • My overall goal is now 100. It was less, but I gained back more than I lost with my pregnancy.
  • I've thought about it. It looks good & Shawn T has a great Rep. If I could I'd try it.
  • I can't post my goals yet because I don't even know where I am anymore. I'm not allowed to swim for at least a months right now b/c of major surgery. So swimming could cause infection, but when I get back in it I will report my times & goals. Last times I remember 50 in 01:15 500 in 10:00 1800... Didn't finish... That's…
  • Since I've been married over a year now & have a 2 week old, I think it may be time for me to leave the group...However, I wanted to leave off with some advice. The most important thing is that you focus on your upcoming future as man and wife. Getting in shape is great, but don't get frustrated if you don't reach your…
  • I don't think an anime has ever made me actually cry, but Inuyasha made me very sad. A lot of others tugged at my heart strings to make me feel empathetic for the characters, like Claymore.
  • I still gained 60 pounds with my pregnancy. It just kept piling on no matter what I did. So I just let it happen. I have since lost ten. I must now graduate b/c I had my baby in December, but I wanted to give some final input on the forums. Don't worry too much about your weight gain, as long as you're not just sitting…
  • I am actually no longer prego as of two weeks ago, but I named my daughter Talitha. If we had had a boy, his name would have been Lloyd, like my husband.
  • Hi, I'm 10 weeks (almost 11). I found out 3 days before my birthday which was May 3rd. We are excited & I'm glad this group exists b/c I've had a hard time staying active b/c I get sick. I was VERY active b4 getting pregnant & want to stay at least somewhat active so it's not difficult after birth. I walk and do tiny…
  • For all those who have up & coming dates, good luck! I wish you all the best. Mine was this past Saturday & I am very proud of what I accomplished. (as you can see, lol) I know you all will look beautiful, so don't ever give up!!
  • The closest I did was weight watchers, but you can eat what you want, so I don't know if that counts. My mother has tried most of them. But diets don't work, b/c you're going to just go back to your old ways. It's a good jump-start, but you have to make a life choice to clean up your diet for the rest of your life. Yea,…
  • Hey! Great job. I never thought it was worth it to show a 30 pound down, but you proved otherwise. I'm a bit older than you, but I'm only an inch taller and my highest weight was the same as your. I lost 35 pounds from January to April. You are good inspriation for us all. Keep it up
  • Me, football addict!! I like to play as well. GIANTS FAN!! My husband's a Falcon's fan. Feel free to boo. (He's from Hawaii, he doesn't know any better. lol)
  • Not a good idea. If you want to be able to have the dress you want you have to get it ASAP. Buying last minute will limit your choices, especially depending on your budget. Remember, there's always alterations
  • Getting married in June. I'm part of this group here on mfp, http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/142-brides-to-be... Once you go in for a fitting after losing have your next fitting bout 2-3 weeks out & don't lose any more in that time or the dress will be too big & falling. My aunt is a seamstress & this was her…
  • GIANTS FAN!!
  • I just repeat that Just because the scale says you're fat and overweight doesn't mean it reflects outwardly. They may not see what your body really looks like under the clothes. They don't mean anything by it. (Sorry, but having a big butt isn't a sign of being fat). Your BMI and weight aren't posted on your head. They…
  • It honestly depends. Just because the scale says you're fat and overweight doesn't mean it reflects outwardly. They may not see what your body really looks like under the clothes. They don't mean anything by it. (Sorry, but having a big butt isn't a sign of fat). Your BMI and weight aren't posted on your head. They don't…
  • I honestly don't know what to say. The only advice I had, I can't say because you said you can't get it fitted. B/c I know I lost too much wait & I'm waiting to have my fitting 3 weeks out so it will be ok. You could just try to maintain b/c if you try that, usually you lose a little bit, but not a lot.
  • Oops4 got. I also had a wedding dress fitting. I had bought my dress to small. NOW IT NEEDS TO BE TAKEN IN!!

  • This ^^
  • I understand. I'm almost 24 & the same thing happened to me. I eventually pushed up to 220. So I joined this & started to be more active. It's important to be active, not always to work out. I take walks, hit the gym, and I'm married so...Eat what you want, but learn to portion. Try to cut out unhealthy foods. Most…
