Welcome. I am trying for a baby as well. We are aiming to be pregnant by next year, after our "Wedding ceremony". We're married, juts never had a wedding. I can relate to how your feeling. I also lost a child. She passed at 6 weeks(after she was born) because of a chromosomal issue. Ever since, I have suffered from the…

I agree with others. I still use food at time, but I choose better food choices most days. Sometimes I still celebrate by having something sweet or "bad" but I don't give up. One bad snack or meal won't destroy what I worked for, unless I let it.

I haven't, BUT the cheepo sports bra I've had since high school sucks. I've been looking into trying to find one of those sports bras like the small chested wear, where you don't have to wear a bra underneath and holds. Remember though, we spend $40-50 on our regular bras, so finding a GOOD sports bra isn't going to be…

It's ok to have a treat once in a while, but if you feel it will really affect you, just politely say no thank you. Unless there's more to it then you're saying, that should be enough

Don't be embarrassed, be proud! Also, they should have an instruction something somewhere in the gym. Look for that next time, just in case. Also, stick to the elliptical. It's better for the knees than the treadmill. They say you know you got a true work out if you sweat, so you did better than a lot of people no matter…

This is awesome! I'm so glad my husband supports. He is truly interested, plus he's also doing it
-
I just don't say anything. If someone asks, "I'm checking calories" the end
-
You look a lot younger and very happy. I thought you were like 16!

Man that sucks. That may be why it's stereotyped that a lot of black people can't swim, b/c we don't like water. I love water, & swimming. I just get braids.

Not what she saiiidd. A majority of the people who use it as an excuse are black women. (Not that a majority of black women do it) That's it. It's true. We see it all the time. How often have we seen other black females use their hair, or their weave as an excuse, not to sweat or get wet. This is sadly an old & odd truth

It does "Soka"

For me it really depends on what I am watching. Some shows change to much after dubbing, some don't. Some sound awful in English, some don't. It's a pick and choose for me. Example; Soul Eater, English dub SUCKS! Sailor Moon, I prefer English, the voices are less annoying, BUT when they brought it over they changed the…

Just goin to reply to the name of the topic. Yes, so true. Being a size 7 doesn't mean your healthy (or not healthy b4 someone gets offended) and also, being a size 16 doesn't make you unhealthy. I was a 12-14 most of my life & I was actually fit & healthy until 4 years ago. Then I was unhealthy & a size 14-16. Size…

Exactly. We know that every race, gender, etc. has hair issues, but a lot of black women do try to use it as an excuse.

That's a shame. & the public has made it that way b/c it shouldn't be about having a date. It's about loving those you care about. Family, friend's, even classmates can share valentines day with you, but like every other holiday people make it about buying stuff for people & being with some1 like a boyfriend or girlfriend.…

^^ This, or don't pay $100 for hair that gets messed up that easy. I'm sorry, but if working out messes up your hair, your stylist is wac! But this is something I have realized before that people do. I am natural, so after I workout, & take a shower I can spray my hair down and comb it out. (IF I don't have braids or…

See my problem was always that the water would leak into the cap and my hair would come out of it.

Cool! I lost about that much my first week too! I've lost 30 lbs in all this first month.

Simply work out at home. Do body weight exercises if you don't own weights, go for walk/runs, do some kickboxing. Check youtube for free workout videos. Fitnessblender

I have escaped the 200s. I am officially 190 lbs! Yay. I haven't been this since I graduated high school

I don't have weights, so I use resistance bands. Same effect. I'm actually on level 2 day 3. I only did level 1 for 4 days because it was too easy. I've been dong a lot of cardio in the last 2 months, so my body didn't feel like it was working. Level 2 & three are much harder. I've seen progress since I started and it's…

Between the two of you, I almost pissed myself laughing!

Which Full Metal Alchemist? The original(sort of) or Brotherhood?
-
My husband told me he found out a place in GA that's going to have it & the earlier we register the cheaper it will be, so we are registering super early(the race is in August) so we can do it now. Yay! I'm so happy. Our training started yesterday.

This^^ I'm, sorry, but if your main goal of losing weight is to feel better b/c you are more attractive, it won't work(on different levels) Examples 1; You love the way you look, but you feel unhealthy & tubby, so you want to lose weight to be more attractive in ways, but also to be healthy and fit(love you body) it can…

I'm so happy I get to run!!
