I have not cut out alcohol all together but I do only drink it every once in a while. I think I have had a 6 pack of blue moon in the fridge for a little over a month now lol

I just started this today. I only made it for 23 mins after stopping twice for water. Is this pretty average for the first day?

Everyones body is a little different. I couldn't really lose anything at 1200 calories. I was just miserable and putting on pounds here and there. I was only trying to lose a about 20 lbs and im sure if that had anything to do with it or not. I bumped it up to about 1450 and have been losing a half pound or more a week…

My husband and I have both experienced this as well. I think working out gives you more energy and makes you feel better about yourself.

I do cheat days on Friday and don't exercise as much. I do log everything so I still portion everything but I might have pizza that day that I wouldn't have other days and I don't go over just get closer to my allotted calories as I usually finish under my goal.

Usually just water but sometimes ill get a diet soda or add Mio to my water

I wear mine all the time when I work out. It is insured though if anything happens to it.

I try to log everything the morning of that day. It lets me know where I stand on calories for the day :)

My tdee is determined to be 2235 by fitness frog.com if I take 20% off that I'm at 1788 calories a day. This sure does seem like alot to be eating and losing weight. Maybe ill try it for a week and see if I can get rid of a few more pounds. Opinions?

I have a cup of yogurt or oatmeal for breakfast and then a protein shake as I drive to work. That keeps me pretty full for a few hours. I than have some fruit between breakfast and lunch.

You probably need to eat a bit more to get your metabolism moving. I found I starting losing and feeling better 1400 calories a day. Try it for a week and see how it works :)

I would go by the machine its better to underestimate than over estimate calories burnt. I think MFP always overestimates my calories burnt.

I love that even though I just lost two pounds I feel better and I look at myself in a different way. No longer hate passing the bathroom mirror :)

If your not eating at least some back you may end up below the min 1200 limit which can put your body into starvation mode and keep you from losing weight. I eat mine most times since my MFP is already set to account for my calorie deficit.

I carry mine in my hoodie or scrubs pocket. I can't tell how accurate it is because I work at a job where I walk a lot of the day and it said I walked 7000 steps today and I feel that could be right but who knows. Lol

How do you determine how many calories you burned? I have a job where I'm walking almost all day and would like to be able to count that in my exercise

So you think if I type in the minutes i walked into MFP and let it calculate it that it would be more accurate?

I felt that way when I started cutting calories. Might be part of your body adjusting to a different and lower calorie diet. If it continues I would see a doctor and get it checked out just to be safe.

I have problems with my knees as well and for a schwin stationary bike and I love it. Easy on knees but a good workout

Thanks guys such great options. I had a really hard day at work today but somehow I am managing to work out even though it took some pep talks. I think I'm going to try taking a bath afterwards and see if that helps.

I mix mine with almond milk making a great 160 calorie breakfast. I also have a piece of oatmeal bread with apple butter
