You could try an anti-chafing gel or maybe play around with a different way to tie your sneakers: http://www.runnersworld.com/running-tips/custom-tie-your-running-shoes

Every light in the house is on, just in case you get tired of being gone.

Mine's public and honest, but no one elver comments on it. I think that unless you are in forums a lot asking for help, few people will seek out your diary. I like peeking at others' diaries for delicious new food choices, though.

I just started the 30 Shred yesterday. I also run or elliptical for 30-45 minutes each day. I added weights a couple weeks ago, but I'm not seeing the results I would like. It's been almost 24 hours since day 1 of the shred and my definitely body feels like I worked it, but nothing is too sore to do it again today. Good…

I love turnips and rutabaga with lots of pepper or chili powder. I usually smash them, but they are so inexpensive and filling, I think trying them as fries is worth a shot. I'm gonna try it out.

I take self-portraits. Here's last year's set of dailies: http://www.flickr.com/photos/_flood_/sets/72157627683504810/ It's satisfying to create something every day and gets me out of my head a little. Reading this thread, I'm thinking about taking up beer-brewing and crochet, though.

So day one wasn't the best. Tomorrow is a chance to do better. Believe in you!

I have zero sweet tooth. No cake, no cookies, no chocolate. But alcohol and savoury snacks are my biggest problem. Beer and chicken wings will be the death of me.

I have batch #2 in the oven right now. DELICIOUS. Thanks very much for sharing the recipe.
