Haha, I spend a lot of time working at the computer and I tend to take breaks/get distracted while writing.

You look really fun!

It really depends on the workout, and when I do it. I do a bit of cardio and lifting in the morning before going to my office for work/class on MWF, and I prefer to have something like a protein shake with fruit and toast, or Kashi go lean cereal and a banana because they provide me with a decent amount of protein, fiber…

Wow... What a reaction! AND this is why one shouldn't post their dietary choices and try to convince others to espouse them. Trying to tell someone that they should do something for <insert list of reasons here> puts one on a level equal to that of Jehova's Witnesses and Mormons and all others who try to convince people to…

Oh gosh... I was dealing with this on Saturday. Copious amounts of wine tend to do that to me... It helps to eat lightly through the day, and try to drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration.

Simply put, I'd say don't eat them ALL back if that puts you over your calorie goal for the day. While it's nice to see that one was 400 + calories under, that's not a wise choice simply because your body needs a minimum of 1200 calories to function normally.

I highly recommend going to greenlitebites.com There are a lot of wonderful, healthy vegetarian meals on there. My favorites are Mom's Thanksgiving Stuffing, and the Vegetarian Chili. It's pretty heavy on beans, but I <3 it.

Also, running may help.

Do you drink? I see a lot of skinny girls develop that when they go to college and start drinking...
-
Yes! It's tough being a grad student with friends who always have drinks and/or beers at every get-together. I've decided to try to cut out drinking for a couple months, just so that I can be more on top of things, and not get lazy over the weekends. This is my first weekend of no drinking, and it may be difficult if I go…

I weigh myself about every other day to stay in check, but I keep my official weigh-ins to one day a week. I record my weight and my measurements on here that day. I was measuring myself on Friday mornings, but I've decided to switch to Saturday morning instead so that I can stay in check on Friday nights when I usually…

Yes!! Bananas!! And dancing.

Haha, false. I also eat food when others aren't looking. Next person has a weird fear/phobia.

Have you thought about seeing a counselor? That would be the best way to really find a method that would work for you. If this is really a problem, and it frequently occurs then the best way to understand and correct it is by reframing your thoughts. I used to have issues with anxiety (and still do at times), and I had…

These headaches could be from sudden decreases in caloric intake. I get a headache and lightheaded on days that I don't drink enough water or eat enough. If you really want some sort of fat that's similar to your former habits, get some natural peanut butter and use a tablespoon of it on a piece of toast, or make a pb&j…
-
Oh! You could also top your toast and peanut butter with half a sliced banana and cinnamon. That with a vanilla-coffee protein shake is one of my favorite breakfasts, especially on days I'm working out.

Oats and oat bran are good suggestions. Don't fall for the "steel cut oats are better" bull****. If you look at the nutritional info, they're just the same as regular oats, except they cost more. Also, Kashi makes a lot of good low-sugar cereals that you could buy, and almond milk (with no sugar added) is a great choice…

Toilet paper! I always forget that... Pick some of that up, too.
-
I'd suggest going to the store and getting skim milk, eggs, healthy bread, and sugar free syrup. Then, you can volunteer to make her french toast for dinner. Light a candle and make it fancy.

The best way to determine the right weight for your body is to have 100 pounds for the first 5 feet on your frame, and another 5 pounds for every inch after that. Your goal could be five pounds above or below that to stay in a good, healthy range.
-
I agree that it may be best to just stop looking at your sugar intake. I'm over on sugar pretty frequently, too, but it's primarily the sugars that are in fruits. I was always going over my fiber allotment for the day, too, but I know that was wrong because adults should strive for 25-30 grams of fiber every day. Do you…

I work out primarily in the guys' section because the music is better, unless it's packed, or I need a machine or weights that aren't available there. I've discovered that the best thing to do is just to focus on my workout and what I'm doing, because nobody else really pays attention to me. They're all focused on their…

You shouldn't try to cut out carbs completely. Your body needs them. It's okay if you cut back on simple carbs, like those in breads and pasta, but you should never try to completely eliminate fruits or veggies. Read this; it should help explain things a little better:…

This is such a great post! I'm teamed up with my friend Kate so that we can just keep each other accountable. She's sort of in a competition with her husband because they gained weight together over the course of their relationship. His mother said she'd give $100 to whoever lost 25 pounds first. He's already about 20…

Your symptoms could be totally psychosomatic because you're anxious about the fact that you had unprotected sex. Wait a week, then take a pregnancy test. If all else fails, get a pack of 2 (it's usually a better deal) and take one after a week, and another a day or so later just to be sure.
-
It may sound weird, but when I went through a cottage cheese phase, I loved eating it with hot sauce.
-
I have the same problem. I've decided that since I've quit drinking for a while, I'm going to take in extra calories with chocolate almond milk because I can only eat so much in a day. Perhaps you could try that? Chocolate milk is a great post-workout recovery drink, too. I'd recommend doing that and half a banana or some…

I see what you did there. German for no. Let's see.. if I were a guy, I might be interested.

I've got a horrible sweet tooth, too. Like previously mentioned, I have a hard time giving sweets up, because I eventually have a bite and go into binge mode. I'm working on moderating my sugar intake now, and trying to just have a piece or two of dark chocolate every other night, or a miniature York patty. I have a…

Sometimes sing. True for fast food place. Next person has shoplifted at least once in his/her life.
