When I was "skinny" no one said crap, unless it was to ask me if I had Cancer or something else, when I'm fat they don't hesitate to tell me, or couch their comments in "hey big guy, here eat this your a good eater or some other crap"..…

  • I agree with you. In the past I have used buddy passes given to me by daughter and it was the same crap, you have to meet with a trainer first. That's why I work out at home.

  • In my opinion based upon nothing, I feel that the balanced beam scale, like the ones they used to use (pre digital) in medical offices. If you place it on a hard floor, versus carpeting, you get the best readings. Some even have adjustments to adjust it. I was able to tweak mine I put a10lb bag of flour on it and set it…

  • Ahhhhh Irish Whiskey only 69 calories per ounce, trouble is I want that as a double and repeated a couple of times.
  • Good luck and best wishes, hang in there if it gets tough.
  • Yep, I like cocktails, but since I've started I have really cut back, the other day I treated myself to 2 5oz glasses of wine. 260 calories. I guess you can have what you want, the fancier the more calories. Sorry,
  • Thanks, it seemed pretty easy (the MFP) so I started questioning whether I was doing it correctly.
  • Hello, I'm new too, one week on MFP. I hope I have been figuring calorie intake correctly. Can anyone answer? Example, if MFP says I can have 1500 daily calories, then I add 500 exercise calories does that mean I can have 2000 for the day. I hope that is the way I would hate to start over.
  • Finished first week, hopefully I'm doing Ok. I hope I'm doing this correctly, can someone advise me? The way I'm doing it, MFP establishes the daily calories you can have during a day, once you supply your target weight and goals. When you add exercise, do those count as extra calories? In other words if MFP says I can…
