Vibrams!! Do you love yours? I love mine-especially for aerobics where other shoes try to come off my feet

Bump...thanks for sharing :-)

Thank you everybody for the advice and motivation!! Your support gives me strength to keep on trucking. I try to keep myself motivated, but sometimes it's hard...especially since I don't always have hight self esteem so I usually end up putting myself down. You guys are great!!

Good point...I wouldn't give up. I might be late but at least I made it to my destination!

@ EZaccone85...don't you wish your girlfriend was hot like me...

Seriously though...I wouldn't be able to stay in that kind of relationship and I hope everything works out for you. :flowerforyou:

I don't fart...the floorboards creak

That is awesome! BTW-you look great! This is the kind of inspiration I need to remember that I can't give up myself!

I didn't have a chance to look at your diary, and I'm not sure if someone else mentioned this, but when do you eat. I've found that it's not how many calories I eat, but when I eat them. If I consume 1600 calories throughout the day and exercies, I gain weight or stay the same weight. If I consume 1600 calories where I eat…

Def something to think about...I hate those days when I feel like I constantly want to eat. I try to stay in the same calorie range, but maybe I'm eating different kinds of food when I'm not on the contraceptive. I'll just have to keep at it!!

I was going to ask that-are they going by what the recipe says is a portion? I didn't have time to read the article, but when I made recipes from Food Network and then plugged it in MFP, it wasn't too bad (of course I'm not expecting MFP to be 100% accurate-or myself for that matter since I eyeball ingredients in recipes…

Using 2 slices of white bread as a hamburger bun - which my mom had to do when I was younger - desperate times call for desperate measures.

Given the comments the OP received...I think a lot of people missed the point of that article...

I thought it was going to be silent...

This is fun! 1. To not gorge myself at holiday dinners 2. Music/Books 3. A new kitchen (more cabinets, counterspace, new appliances, and a new floor)

Yes! And as others said, don't put a time on falling in love, having kids, etc. My husband and I just had our first son 4 months ago-I'm 28. There were times I wanted to start our family before now, but I didn't rush it. It says on your profile that you're 24...you still have PLENTY of time to find someone who will treat…

I saw on Food Network where Food Detectives looked into the possibility of drinking too much water. Can it happen? Yes. Will it happen to you? Probably not…but as someone mentioned before it happens mostly to marathon runners and extreme athletes. They found that it wasn’t so much “how much water a person drank” but “how…

Thanks for the info...I just remember them telling us that at my first job years ago. But, I still find it's best not to discuss wages with my coworkers.
-
Dessert, cheese, and pasta/bread. I'm trying to cut back but sometimes it's hard.
-
This is why most jobs say wages are confidential and shouldn't be discussed with anyone...it only creates problems...

Yes! We have it here in my office...I only raise concerns to the boss if it's going to affect my work directly. My husband has to remind me, as long as I'm getting paid and I can do my job I shouldn't say anything. There are people out there without jobs who wouldn't mind being treated unfairly as long as they were getting…

Oh see I didn't pick up on that. My prison lingo is bad...I'd better get caught up before I accidentally agree to become somebody's you know what...

Because if they did, then EVERYBODY would be up Charlie's butt...

I used to work with someone who always had that philosophy. She told me one time she was shopping with her daughter and she didn't fit in a pair of pants and she would have to go up a size. She didn't buy the pants, lost the weight, then bought the pants. I thought she was crazy and being too strict on herself. Now I…

I am 4 months post-partum and am having a similar revelation now. The different is I'm not carrying an extra 5 year old around...I'm carrying around enough weight to make up a petite adult (or almost make up a petite adult depending on the height and weight of that adult)...sad...

...my calories increased, but my exercise decreased. I became comfortable and convinced myslef I was happy despite the weight gain. At 170 lbs I wanted to lose weight, but I only lost 5 pounds and then the weight kept creeping up. Now, at 4 months post-partum, I am at my heaviest weight...170 lbs would be a milestone in my…
