Well I finally got it and I am on day 4. Sooo hard, sooo sore, but I don't start things and not finish them. I'm excited.

When I was 104lbs at 5'2" I still had thick love handles, and a little roll when I sat down, though my stomach was perfectly flat standing. Perhaps it is just how your body is made? Unless you want an 8 pack or something, and working out is what you live for, maybe you should accept that little bit of cushion. (I'm not…

Add me! I've been logging everyday since I started in Jan.

You know, I never was able to bring it up to him. We have actually talked a few times, but I had trouble bringing that up in a conversation.

I knew a kid who stabbed himself in the eye (forget his weapon of choice) It turned his eye a beautiful shade of light blue after it "healed".

I'm nursing my second child now. She's a year old. I nursed my first for 2. Anyway, I didn't lose any weight the first year, but I didn't try at all. But the big question is, how is your milk supply? Is she gaining well? Since I always had an abundant milk supply (I could feed octoplets) I cut down my calories to 1370 and…

I ordered it from ebay a week ago and got scammed. I have to wait for them to give me my money back. I wish it was coming because I would join you! Unfortunatly, I can't make myself pay $130+ for it. Darn. I really want it! ANyone know where I can buy it cheaply and not get scammed? :)

I still haven't put any pictures up since I made progress. I don't have any good pics of my skinny days, the bad part about moving a lot is you lose a lot. Anyway, I have actually lost 18lbs since my pictures! It actually reminds me of how I don't want to look! :) (18lbs is decent for being 5'2")

This too! But, while I do give into craving, I just make them much smaller. 1 piece of chocolate instead of 5, 1/2 cup ice cream instead of 2.

Yeah, I am definitly an over-thinker. One of my many flaws :) I guess I should just let it go, hmm? It will come in time, and until then, I'll just keep working on it! Plus, someone mentioned the "heavier up top" think, and I am and have always been. The fact that I am nursing is making them even heavier, so sometimes it's…

Not completely related, but I have seen FB posts about how they are fat because they have so much personality it overspills. Insinuating skinny people have dull personalities. It urks me. Thats not the only one either.

Mine says 14, but it is actually 16. So...I completely cut out soda. None for a month. I usually only drink water. Also, exercising more, moving more, and keeping your calories down. And portion control. 14lbs in 25 days, not to mention the 2 I lost a couple weeks before that.
-
P.S: I haven't had a soda in a month! Went from 3-5 a day to nothing. So that was about 600-1000 sugar filled calories a day! To nothing but water, and the occasional (meaning once every other day or so) hot chocolate, cappachino, orange juice or milk.

I gained too much weight while pregnant. Went from 104lb (worked on my feet all day, too busy to eat much at all) to 160lbs after 2 kids. Stayed 160 for a year and decided it is time for a change. I didn't realize how many calories I must have consumed to maintain that frame (on a 5'2" body) until I started counting them.…

I understand completely. This is when I want to snack the most. But, I have been trying to eat big breakfasts and I don't starve myself at night. I save my chocolate for nighttime, sometimes more than one. 14 lbs in 25 days so I'm not doing so bad. But I usually don't eat an hour or 2 before bed. Drinking lots of water…

Sounds like my ex. Realize the term EX. Run away, now. If he's that disrespectful this early, it will only get worse. Probably much worse. To be fair, though, it seems you weren't very respectful either.

I've love 14lbs in 25 days. That's almost 1lb every 2 days. Through counting calories and exercise. I put it in my calorie counter to lose a 1lb a week but I'm losing more. Anyway, why do this junk your talking about, when it WORKS the old fashioned way?

I don't typically refer to myself as married, but I do sometimes call him hubby and his mom my MIL in forum posts, because it is so much faster than saying, "My boyfriend for 6 years whom I live with and is the father of my 2 children," and "My longtime boyfriends mother." I am a stay at home mom, so taxes aren't the…

Id love to be part of the challenge!

I have a baked potato many times a week. It's my go to dinner. I'm on a 1300 calorie diet, and since the rest of my food is pretty healthy, I am almost always below my carbs range. But I'm not a big fan of rice, and pasta is rare at my house. I'm a little scared of it, too.

I was a very picky eater, some of the foods you listed are some of my favorites! But, I did this thing called "trying new things" and wow, I mean, it really changed me. There are still some things I won't try, (oysters, sushi...) but my boyfriend would always tell me to try it, and I usually would. And I get it being…

Thanks so much for this post, as I was wanting to ask the same thing. As a full time mom of 2 small kids with just about 0 help, I need to exercise in the comfort of my living room. So far, I have been Zumbaing, with the Exhilarate kit, but really, I'm just sooo bored of it. I haven't really exercised in a week (since my…

Thanks everyone for your input!

Let me say this though, I don't think I was clear. I'm not starving on my diet of 1200-1300 calories. But there have been times since starting the diet that I got very hungry, and just put off eating because I was busy or something.
-
I'll be your friend! I upped my calories to 1360 instead of 1260, but I'm actually thinking about lowering it again.. I'm 5'1"/5'2" and hypoglycemic. Actually, I'm almost considering myself cured. I haven't had an episode since I started slowly cutting down my sugar, therefore my body isn't freaking out when I don't get it…

I never ask. I'm not happy with how I look yet. Why would I ask someone how I look if I don't like it anyway? But hey, I've lost 10lbs in less than 4 weeks and I'm 1/4th of the way there. (in 10lbs I won't be overweight anymore.) I'll ask him then.

A few, but I think everyone needs to watch "Remember Me." Don't give up halfway through, it is the ending that makes it. Goosebumps just talking about it.

Keep in mind that women look bigger after giving birth even at a low weight. Their uterus is still oversized and will look 6 months pregnant for a little while. Also, I was in the hospital twice with my daughter and ate hardly anything there, and gained 10lbs each time. I was there for 4 days each time. So 20lbs in 8 days.…

Wow, and in just a few short months! Great job! Your making me really want to find a way to get weight lifting in the most!

Thanks everyone, that makes me feel better. And lol @ Vpetryshyn...I hadn't thought about that! Perhaps we will have "sexytime" before dinner, and if it works out after dinner, too, then great! :)
