I downloaded 5:2 diet a couple of days ago and started it yesterday... It's 2 (non consecutive) days fasting (intake 500 calories) 5 days feasting (recommends an amount of calories with a mathematical equation). Or... you just eat normally!

I used to used shredded white cabbage as a pasta substitute! I suppose it is partially fooling your eyes into thinking you are eating the naughty stuff as at the end of the day they say you eat with your eyes... err.... Lets hope the belly is convinced too!!!! Hahah

Are you recording your exercise properly, I would imagine you are doing a bit of walking as a teacher. I wonder how many times you walk up and down the stairs without realising carrying books etc?
