instead of a sporting store try to find a running store they will analyze your gait. i never knew that i overpronated when i ran and guess what theres a shoe for that.. hahaha. good luck and happy running.

do the kids have any game systems, might be worth a trip to game stop to maybe get a wii or playstation used game, or if it's going to be raining for a few days maybe go rent one from blockbuster that could be something you and the kids would have fun with.

ok, i am going with the week one day 2 idea. that is a little confusing to me too. I did not get to exercise yesterday at all had a dentist appt which took for ever then had two baseball games last night i didnt log the going back and forth between the two fields but i ended up going over on cals by 122 not too bad…

a lot of people will say that they hit a wall at some point in the program i had several times where i did one day fine and went to do it again and couldnt stay on the day you had trouble with until you kick it's butt. give yourself a rest day before you try again. make sure you drink plenty of water before you run…

It depends on what kind of pain it it. if its a sharp knife like pain no that is not normal. if is a soreness or muscle pain and goes away with ibuprophen i'd say it's just getting used to it. i am by no means a dr and if you have concerns it's always best to see your dr before starting a new workout regimen.

did today's challenge and the 50 crunches was a lot harder than i thought the mountain climber thingy was fun though. then did 60 minutes of zumba. sweatin like a dog hitting the shower got baseball practice in an hours.. how are you guys doing today :) casey

i used polar brand leggings. shoes were the same it was cold here but not snowy so i dont know if i could run in the snow.. that might be the day to break on the treadmill. i enjoyed running in the winter though it was nice. some of the colder days were harder on the lungs but apparell is what it is all about. my fav shoes…

as much as i hate the way it sounds you need to change your life. this cant be a diet or a quick fix if it is it wont last. you need to want to be a healthier you and to still be around in 10-15-20 years.

i'd log it as running 4.5 as an average. definately look into the C25K program it will help you build up endurance without killing yourself.. there are lots of threads on here about it.

i'm running my first 5 k Oct 1st. i don't care if i am the last person to cross the line, a year an half ago i was smoking nearly two packs a day and weighed 216lbs. that I am still here to cross the finish line at all is worth celebrating. do it. and give it all you got.

i always go over on protien but have been told that it burns faster than other empty calories so i dont worry about it.
