I am pear shape also. I am small up top and bottom part is a lot larger. I started out needing to lose about the same 20 pounds. I am getting more and more excited about getting them. And I am going to try ebay and craigslist to try and get them cheaper. And I am not too klutzy so hopefully (fingers crossed) I won't fall too many times. And if I do... I will just get back up and try again. :)

I live in a small town and only have two small gyms so I don't think a membership there is really for me. I walk over 4 miles a day and wanted something to boost my walks. And I agree people spend a lot of money on walking shoes or sport equipment so maybe this would be the same if you do it regularly. And I am not worried…

Well I already see weigh loss from my diet. I guess I should have explained better. I walk 5 times a week. And I want to try something different and that burns more calories.

I am 5'1"... current weight 133 -135. My goal weight is 110 which I was before I had my daughter. If I can't get down to 110 then I would be happy with 120.

I don't know if I will do 30/30 but I down to start trying. I have a weighted hoop and I also have a dance hoop. I only really use my dance hoop now. But maybe the weighted hoop would be good for core. I don't know really. I usually hoop about 20 minutes a day. I have done 30 minutes but not every day.

I missed Saturday through Monday cause I wasn't feeling good. But I got 35 minutes in yesterday and 20 minutes in on Tuesday.

I also bought a weighted one. Mine is 2.5 lbs. But I did order a lighter one (hasn't arrived yet) because I too started to get interested in hoop dancing. I accepted both of your requests. I haven't really thought about hoop dancing. I just started doing the hoop exercise because I heard it was a good exercise and fun. I didn't get to do it the last four days because we were gone on a small vaca. But back at it again today.

I just started doing. I have a weighted hoop that is 2.5 lbs. First day I did 10 minutes. And was pretty sore the next day. A lot of restuarants have the light meals... try sticking with those. If not then try and eat a lighter lunch and work out more that day.
