I have seen these for a while and really want to try them. I have been debating on buying them but they are expensive. Has anyone tried them? Are they worth the price?

Weight loss comes from a calorie deficit.0

I had to Google it.
Ummm, no. I see nothing but injury happening here.0 -
They look like a ton of fun. I can't afford them but I think great cardio workout.0

Lol those look ridiculous. I'd be embarrassed to wear them, and the $250 price tag doesn't help. Like lolowolf said, you're not going to see weight loss just from buying/using those. That mostly comes from your diet.0
-
Well I already see weigh loss from my diet. I guess I should have explained better. I walk 5 times a week. And I want to try something different and that burns more calories.0

Then buy them. You're asking us to validate your spending. If you have to ask if something is worth it you probably already know that it's not.
If you want to buy them.. buy them. Search reviews on google and other sites and watch youtube videos. I would much rather spend $250 on classes at the gym, rollerblades, a bike, etc.0 -

I think there are better routines you could invest your time/money into than the boots. Gym membership maybe?0 -

Lift weights.
Or just jump around 24/70 -
You don't have to be rude. I am not trying to validate my spending. I am asking if anyone else has every used them. That is just like reading reviews. I am asking opinions. If you have never used it then don't answer. Simple as that.0

My response wasn't meant to be rude. You asked how you could burn more calories I suggested lifting weights.0 -

i don't get what they are for, is it like roller skates? just something fun to strap on your feet for the hell of it? or is it supposed to make a workout harder/easier?0
-
@ LindsayLinea.....I have a pair and they are sooooo much fun!!!! I say if you want them, buy them!!! Of course, living in Canada, their usage is short lived as summers are short but I would still give it a fun-factor of 10!!!0

Thank you suemcmurry... I live in Texas so I could probably use them year round. I think they would be great to add more excitement to my walks in the morning.0

you just really gotta LOVE to bounce!!!!! whoo-hoo!!!
plus, a great cardio workout!!!
and there is another person who has them here...kangoojumps. Ask her also@0 -

In all honesty though I'd be concerned about twisting an ankle or something like that with those.0 -
Well I read that it is actually very low impact and better on your joints. I am interested in it.0
-
YES to this!!!!!0
-
Could see how they would make it easier on your joints.
you could say there is a risk of ankle injury, falling, etc... but i don't see that as being any more risky then strapping on roller skates for the first time.
seems like your approaching it correctly too, something to add some fun, not like your expecting some miricle out of them, seems like your in pretty good shape as it is anyway0 -

Here's a question then:
How often will you be able to use them? If they're as expensive as someone said (i didn't look up the price, just Googled what the heck they were  ) and you're not going to use them that often then maybe think of putting that money towards something else like a gym membership. Where I live it wouldn't be a good investment 1) I live on a dirt road 2) it starts to get cold outside beginning of October (we have had freak snow storms in October as well) and stays cold until mid May.0 -
There are much cheaper ways to look silly in public.

Wow, these look fun! Your own personal trampoline-ish shoes! It is pricey though. If you were to commit to it, like the gym (just as expensive), I'd say, go for it!:bigsmile:0

Did you almost drop that cash on them because they were "Lebron Nikes" or because you liked the shoe and they were for a specific activity you were doing? I have no problem dropping a lot of money on my running shoes because it is important to have good runners to avoid injury. I would not, however, drop a chunk of change on a pair of sneakers because someone endorsed the brand nor would I drop a chunk of change on something I wasn't sure wouldn't end up collecting dust after a few uses.0 -

My daughter LOVES these!! They have them at the camp she goes to and it's her favorite activity!
If it's fun to you and it burns calories, then it's win win in my books! How is this any different than spending money on rollerblades, skis, skates, bikes, etc. ?
Check on Craigslist or Kijiji, or whatever classified sites you know for used ones if price is an issue....enjoy!!0 -
I did not know such a thing existed. But I also think they look like fun. Although not $250 worth of fun.0
