This is my dad's recipe, and the beans are a-freakin'-mazing! They freeze well, and you can portion it out into single servings and take them with you for lunch. Sorry, don't have specific nutritional info, but it is very low-cal and pretty much awesome for you. Just go easy on the salt :) You can also add some chicken or…

From what you said above, you may need to adjust your schedule. You could try getting up earlier in the morning to work out (which will give you more energy during the day) and go to bed an hour earlier at night. Other than that, sorry! It's readjust your schedule or push through the exhaustion at the end of the day. Wish…

All you can do at this point is NOT beat yourself up! Just shake it off and keep plugging along-one setback isn't the end of the world, just jump back on the wagon tomorrow. :)

Bump! I've been fighting a plateau for a few weeks now, will be interesting to see some responses

Love it! You guys are all awesome! :)

I asked the folks at Big Peach Running Company a few months back, because the same happens to me. They said it is one of two things: shoes are too tight around your toes (getting a wider shoe will help), or its the way your foot is hitting (or in this case, NOT hitting) the floor/pedal when you exercise. Will elliptical…

Holy awesomeness! Great job! You can totally tell a big difference! :)

I hash once a week, but my knees can't handle running every day unfortunately :( I trail run every couple of weeks which is much easier on the pain than concrete, but still-ouch!
-
Ha! Thanks, it's my "tough" face :)
-
It was the jumping that did it-I've had 2 knee surgeries so I don't have much cartilage left-ouch! :( I've been wanting to try turbo fire....maybe some odd hybrid can be made....

When you take that much, your body sucks water from the rest of your body and send it to your intestines, which is why your stomach has been hurting like that . You've basically made yourself have raging diarrhea because you've taken too much, and it can take a day or two to get your system back to normal. Drink a ton of…

No problem-my pleasure! :) I plugged everything into the recipe tool (I eat it all the time too, so I wanted to know), and I came up with around 190 calories per serving not including the rice and not including the stock (this is assuming there are 12 servings in a pot, so this will vary depending on how big of a serving…

**Side note: it says you can add chicken stock to the beans, I usually use veggie stock or water.

YES! I've noticed that I munch a lot more during that TOM. I tried resisting, but now I just allot an extra 150 cals a day for chocolate (just one or two days a month) or another "treat" that I crave. It keeps me from becoming an evil spawn during those days :) I'm sorry, but carrot sticks or ice water just doesn't cut it!

I'm doing weights, I just don't keep track of them on here (they're in my diary on the laptop). Good call on the bigger breakfast though-I'm going to start that tomorrow and see how it goes! Thanks!! :)
-
Oooooh, good call! Thanks! I have a tough time eating in the mornings-I'm just not hungry. However, if it will kick this hunger thing in the butt, I can force it down. I'm going to start that tomorrow! Thank you!!! :)

I was already pretty high on my protein and I was crashing during my workouts, so I upped carbs since I was consistently coming in about 50-100 below.

My diary isn't accurate as to when I eat, but I usually eat 3 meals (300-400 cals) with 3 snacks every day (snacks around 100-250 cals). I wish I could plan my meals to eat 5 times a day, but with my job that's not possible (I work in a lab where I cannot eat and sometimes have to be in there without leaving for 4+ hours…

OK, I'll admit it. I've become a food snob! I've gotten so meticulous about what I eat that I look at other peoples food at the checkout and count calories! OH NO!!! Not in a "you sooo shouldn't buy that" kind of way, just a "wow, I used to eat that" kind of way. I hadn't realized how much processed and fatty food I used…

Just a suggestion that kind of goes along the same lines as what others have posted: Try cutting back on your processed cereals (Lucky Charms, Cinnamon Life, etc...) and processed foods if you want to cut back on your sugar intake. Keep in mind that most processed cereals use processed sugar. You can always go the oatmeal…

Hi Ladies! I finished the Slim in 6 series and tried the 30-day shred, but only made it through about 3 days because I didn't feel I was getting a good workout. My heart rate got up there, but just when I started to get into the workout it was over :( I'm now doing 3 days of Slim in 6 (burn it up-ugh, sooo tired of that…

I've been making these flat-out pizzas lately that TOTALLY take care of my pizza cravings. My toppings come in at around 321 calories, but you can vary it however you'd like. I get a lite sundried tomato Flat Out wrap (I buy them at the ngrocery store, Pulbix), bake at 350 for 7 minutes until a bit toasty. I pile on a bit…

I have crazy-bad knees (osteoarthritis), so I definitely feel your pain (no pun intended-wow, I really didn't mean that to be cheesy). Anyway, I take TriFlex Sport (from GNC store), which is a Glucosamine/Chondroitin/MSM supplement with herbal goodies. The tablets are rather large and you have to take 4 a day, but it is…

I've gone from a D to a C cup during my loss so far. It's kind of sad...all my cute bras are too big :(
