Me too! I have 100 plus pounds to lose as well. My motivation is severely lacking, and need to find it :) Also need to find a path that will work, and that will be sustainable.

I want to be smaller than my husband. I weigh 50 more pounds than him.

Yeah, the out to eat thing is a constant struggle. I have two girls 15 and 12, and my boyfriend has 3 kids 2 boys and one girl 15, 14, and 12, and he isn't overweight... so they all wanna go to pig out places as well. lol

I have thought about looking on ebay for it. It isn't available on amazon right now it said. Thanks for the link. I will check that out.

Thank you. I have really tried over the past month of dieting to not talk about it to my kids... esp her. I have just done it, and not said oh I can't have that or we can't eat there... I just have kept their snacks in the house, and dealt with it... and taken them to places they want to eat, but not eaten what I normally…

My jeans that were too tight a month ago are now loose even when they are fresh out of the dryer :)

I like the fact that it is not the traditional form of yoga. The traditional form of meditative yoga doesn't appeal to me. The only times I have tried it I was more stressed out over trying to relax than anything, and felt frustrated after trying it lol.

Thank you both for your kind words. I know I am doing the right thing getting her the help. The overwhelming guilt feeling is a killer today. I am trying to get myself together before her appointment this afternoon. :)

Thanks for the info on the yoga. The more I read about it, the more beneficial it sounds. My doctor didn't tell me why to stay there. He gave me a range of 1100-1200 calories a day. I have been doing it for a little over a month now, and it is working... I don't feel bad or anything. I have increased my water intake as…

I have not been tracking exercise enough I don't believe. My doctor wants me to stay under 1200 calories, and it won't let you here when you record the exercise it wants you to eat more. So, I just keep track of exercise myself. I dunno if that is the best way or not lol..

You are always worth the effort. So many of us that have struggled with our weight for most our lives have wrapped our self worth up in the number we see on the scales. Then, it trickles down to everything we do in life. However, you can change that view. Focus on other things.. like how you feel after you finish your…

I have this as well. Major big thing is never ever go barefoot or wear flip flops.... ever  I wear only shoes with adequate arch support. I bought the inserts that my podiatrist recommended, and do not wear tennis shoes without them if I am going to be walking. For sandals I wear crocs. They have a lot of support,…

Yeah, I was really bummed about it, but it does taste good.. just greasier and more calories and fat than I wanted for lunch. Yeah, the unsalted veggies are the pits! Only thing worse is ketchup with no salt... yuck!

Thanks for posting... I am a mom, and have been overweight since having my oldest almost 14 years ago. I have been over 200 pounds for about 11 years now, and one of my personal goals is to be under 200. I couldn't imagine not being with my child during something like that due to my weight.
