I usually just use it in smoothies, it's pretty good and gives the smoothie a creamier texture. I also just mimic the Asian restaurants by adding it to stir fry, it's pretty good because it takes on the flavor of what you're cooking it in.

Hey, I want to be your friend. Single mama of 4 juggling running the kids on their errands, doing my errands, working full-time, and trying to work out. Ugh I'm tired...

Midol really helps me, exercise helps, and try doing the child's pose (yoga), it helps me. I was told that it helps the blood clots to drop, which is what's causing the cramping. You get your period so often, did you ask your doc if you have a fibroid or anything on your uterus?

Hi, I think the best thing to could tell you is to not go into denial. Everyone I know who is newly diagnosed goes into denial and they don't take care of themselves. They say, "Oh, I'm just prediabetic" or "I'm just newly diagnosed, so my sugar isn't that bad." Believe me, you're diabetic. Take care of it now, and you…

Check out: http://www.doctoroz.com/videos/best-teas-weight-loss-pt-1 One of my MFP friends told me about this. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm going to. I'm going to try the Pu Erh, White tea, and Bilberry teas. I had to order the Pu Erh and Bilberry because there's no "natural foods" stores near my hometown. I'm…

"The End of Diabetes" by Joel Fuhrman. Totally love Joel Fuhrman, I don't know if I can handle being on his idea of lifestyle change, but he's totally opened my eyes as to what I'm doing to my body by eating the way I am. If you're interested, start with "Eat to Live" first, it's a great book.

YUMMY! I'm definitely a sneaker of chocolate. But those are some great ideas!

Add me, I'm an on/off user, but I'm trying to be better this time around. Motivation is what I need.

I can't remember where I heard this, but someone said, "you won't regret it". So even while I'm in the gym and I don't want to be there, I say that back to myself. Because deep down I know I won't regret it. Exercise makes me feel better and long term-we will have healthier lives.

I'm on it not only for pcos but also for diabetes. I've found that if I take it right when I'm eating that it doesn't upset my stomach as much. Or if you forget, take it with some pretzels. Also, increase your fiber. I tried adding more fiber by taking metamucil and it actually does help with the diarrhea. Anyways, it like…

I was diagnosed as diabetic before pcos, so I don't know if this recommendation is weird. I wouldn't think so because everyone who has insulin resistance has a great chance of developing diabetes. You can buy the monitors over the counter. But I'll warn you, it gets so tiring testing your sugar everyday.
