Today I'm joining my husband in getting back on track. Why can't I do this without him?

Today I saw my first loss on the scale. (BTW, this is the best thread in the whole group)

Today I will do better than yesterday.

My first day was good, thanks to all of you. The welcoming feeling is awesome. I was a hair under for my daily calories, but my ratios were all out of whack. I guess it'll take some effort to get that part back. Starting day two off, hopefully, better.

Today I'm staying motivated by reading about all of YOUR victories. Thank you to the group. I really need this.

Water is the one thing I've never had trouble with, but I tend to slide back to diet cola every now and then. Need to kick that habit.

Add me, too! It'll take a while for me to go through this list, but I really need the support right now. I gained back 40 pounds of the 65 I lost two years ago with MFP. Maintenance has turned out to be near impossible for me to grasp.

Hi. My name is Gina, 48 years old, and used to living three lives at once. I work full time, run a business on the side, and teach sewing in my "spare" time. Two years ago my husband and I were successful with MFP. I got down to 127 pounds. Unfortunately, I have found maintenance to be SUPER HARD and am back up to 165.…

I'm a little late to the game, but I still want to play. My top weight (in life) was 205 pounds. Two years ago, with MFP, I was down to 127. Right now, I'm losing the game again: Starting (Current) Weight: 165 Challenge Goal Weight: 145 Ultimate Goal Weight: 125 I desperately need a support group.

Nothing happened. I'm going to Skorpion.

That's what I'm finding, too, Amy. I sent a message out to DerbySmack.com this morning. We'll see what happens.

I actually do understand all that. I'm just trying to find some place that does the fitting. The places near me (within an hour's drive) have sales-people, but not experts in fitting. They also don't have the stock on hand to try different styles and sizes until it works. 20 years ago when I did skate all the time, my feet…

I found Roller Derby online to be a little confusing. Since I haven't skated regularly in over 25 years, I have to consider myself a beginner again, too. Are these good beginner skates?
-
FANTASTIC! That may be just the solution. Thanks so much. Pagie ... you are my new best friend! These are great! I can skate again. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I opted in to this challenge on January 9, 2013. So far I've lost 11.8 pounds! WOOHOO!

Hi everybody! I'm new to MFP, and SO glad I chose this thread to read first. Feeling alone on this roller coaster is something I thought couldn't helped, but reading about the differences and similarities in your struggles makes me hopeful again. Thank you. I've been on this ride my whole life. My husband, my sister and my…
