I only ended up getting 2 runs in this week. Monday i did 10K, and yesterday 8K. I was called in to work (I work casual) and when that happens I often don't get my runs in. So....today I will be running but not sure how far. could be a TM run. AHHCK!

I am using Runkeeper as well on my iPhone. LOVE IT! We do also have a Garmin 205, but my husband runs too and he uses that most of the time. It is an older model I guess...but works great.

I use a handheld bottle holder by asics. it will hold a bottle and has a zipper where I can put a gel if I need one. I prefer not to carry anything, but use this on any runs usually longer than 6-7 miles. I also have a belt one, but really don't like running with anything bouncing on my waist. I guess I need to just get…

About the treadmill..... I agree! I only run on it when I have to. I am happy to have one, but at the same time hate using it. The most I have run on it is 10 miles, and that is only once, and I still can't believe that I did it. Lol Normally I do anywhere from 30-45 minutes and that is my limit. It is another windy day…

I am a day behind here...but yesterday I ran 8K. It was very windy and cool.....I ended up doing a one-way run and got my hubby to drop me off 8K up the road (he was going that way anyway! hehe) and I ran home with the wind at my back. It was great. Not near as cold when the wind is not in your face.

I have been using the runkeeper app to track my runs and pace etc etc. We do have a garmin, but my husband runs too so he usually uses that. What does everyone use for gps device?

My husband also has the Polar FT4 and loves it. Not expensive, and works like a charm. When you get it you program in your weight, height, gender etc etc and it calculates your calories for you while you exercise. i use it a lot myself, it is great!

I joined a challenge once before and I think I somehow lost the thread, or couldn't find it the next time I went on. So....hopefully that won't happen to me this time! I did run yesterday so for this week heres where I'm…

Great ideas in here stefchica....I will be adding some black beans to mine tomorrow. I always seem to have a job getting my protiens in...so that will be great.

I eat a salad everyday for lunch too. I like to put slivered almonds and craisons in mine. If I don't have chicken I will add an egg. Today my salad was.... baby spinach broccolli cauliflower mushroom tomato red onion chicken craisons

I am pretty new to protien powders myself. We just recently bought Promasil as it was recommended and on sale at GNC. No idea if its a good one compared to others in ingredience or taste. Has anyone ever used it, or has anything good or bad to say about it? Thanks :)

Kudos to you for getting up early for that run! That is dedication :) I think that if you got up a bit earlier and had something in your stomach it would help. I have only had to get up "that" early to run a few times and I can remember feeling that as well. Good luck to you and keep on running!
