  • i have not experienced that recently but my daughter did yesterday. I took her shopping for her birthday and she went to try on 12's and 14's in jeans. she put the 12's on and they fit perfectly. it was the best shopping experience she has had in a long time CONGRATULATIONS on your smaller size

  • i agree. I don't think it will hurt you not to eat all your calories if you are not hungry. It can make up for a day you might eat over your calories. I also agree with CONGRATS to you on not eating the chicken nuggets and fries and picking a healthier alternative.

  • yes there are some foods that I will not go for lower calories because I do not like the taste or texture. I prefer taking a calorie hit on real cheese versus low fat cheese. On the other hand I do not mind 1% milk but will not drink skim milk. You have to do what works for you

  • I logon to MFP every day and see success stories. AND I have finally gotten to the point where I really really want this. Do I sometimes slip and eat over my goal calories? YES but I keep coming back.
  • I have pretty much eliminated diet soda from my diet. I have an occasional one when i go out. I have read so many articles on how bad diet soda is for you but really I did not get fat from drinking too much diet soda. How about the whopper and fries i ate along with the diet soda.
  • You have to do what works for you I had a problem when I first started MFP I didn't go to bed hungry but I woke up in the middle of the night hungry and I would sometimes eat and go back to bed. I didn't like that. Now I try to save a snack to have after dinner but not right before going to bed.
  • i have given up soda and coffee and i sometimes want something that tastes like something rather than just water. I have started drinking flavored tea zero calories and no sweetener i count it as my water. I have not had any issues doing this. Good luck and enjoy your tea
  • I weigh every day. I track my fluctuations on my own spread sheet. I usually only log my losses on MFP so I can see a constant downward trend. However recently I tracked a gain because I needed to recommit myself to MFP and get back on track. Recommitting worked to re-motivate me.

  • I really identify with you. I am doing so much better with MFP this time around. I had to change my thinking in order to change my weight. I went from a can't do to a can do attitude. I still struggle from time to time and recommitted today to doing better once again. Good luck to you too
