I'm still working on it I don't eat salty snacks like chips like I used to. the salt really bothers my tongue. I don't even enjoy french fries any more which is really great. Still working on the sugar addiction though

You are doing great. thank you for sharing pictures. We can really see your progress and this helps motivate me. I admire your ability to stick with this a be in it for the long haul because that is what i am doing too. it is not easy but I know it is worth it. Good luck on the rest of your weight loss journey and…

you are doing great. It is harder to lose the closer you get to your goal. and your calorie intake needs to be lower at a lower weight or your exercise level needs to be longer or more intense. good luck

Yes we all go through it at one time or another. The joy for me this time I I am not quitting. Every other time when things got tough I quit. Keep at it an you will once again get motivated. there are so many great people on this site to keep me going

yes if it is not creepy. I had a guy follow me around in the grocery store once and when he tried to talk to me I did not like it at all. A waiter flirted with me a couple weeks ago and I loved it. Even if he did it just to get a better tip it worked LOL

I don't have any red foods now and I am more successful than I have ever been with any diet including about 10 times joining weight watchers. I buy individual servings of some things if I want to have them and if I can eat just one and be satisfied. I stopped buying even individual servings of Klondike bars because I would…

I am sorry for your loss. My father died right after 4th of july 1990 and I still morn him. He was a shot and a beer guy and drank every night before he went to bed. I toast him with a shot and a beer on 4th of july and on his birthday in October. It makes me feel better to keep this ritual in his memory.

I have been having a hard time getting back on track. keep wavering between 25 and 30 lbs gone. It doesn't help that I was on vacation and then had a lot of stress in my life when I got back home. BUT the good news Is I AM NOT QUITTING
-
I should go to bed instead of being on mfp and facebook. I'm really tired
-
you may see it later or maybe not. If you get back in control now any gain you see should come back off quickly.

Congratulations!!!! you look great

I missed my April goal. looking forward to a better May. I want to be down at least 5 lbs by may 21 (doctors appt) and 7 lbs by end of month
-
i've done it but not on purpose. vacations, holidays and other special occasions come up an end up kind of like maintenance. also I've recently had a hard time staying on target. For me it is important to still log on everyday and enter my food diary good or bad.

well my recommitting didn't go so well. I did not quit though which is a huge improvement for me. here I go again. I am going back to what I did last august. I logged my food but I had a food plan that I used many years ago. daily requirements - 3 fruits, 2 Veggies, 2 starches, 6 - 8 oz protein a day
-
I have done that. I'm usually even worse and get the full blown white chocolate mocha grande (My favorite). I haven't had one in almost a year so I have made progress.
-
thank you all for the suggestions and the support. I feel better knowing that I am not the only person who has had difficulty with the.
-
Yes I have done that a lot

since you are not losing eating this way it sounds like it is time to switch it up even if you like it you are not getting the results you want. you can have your eggs and milk but why not limit them and add in some whole grains, fruit and vegetables?
-
your smoothie sounds filling and healthy. I agree with the others if you are satisfied there is nothing wrong with having that. I try to even out my calories per meal so if i am allowed 1200 I would do 400 per meal. However if I go out for a meal I try to make adjustment for higher calories or spread food out for snacks…

this is true Choose foods containing vitamin C to enhance iron absorption You can enhance your body's absorption of iron by drinking citrus juice or eating other foods rich in vitamin C at the same time that you eat high-iron foods. Vitamin C in citrus juices, like orange juice, helps your body to better absorb dietary…

congrats you are 1 lb closer to your goal. I have stayed the same for a whole month but it has really been up a pound down a pound. mine is due to having too many days eating over my calorie range. I'm not beating myself up over it. every day I do my best. Keep up the good work

Congratulations!!! 10 lbs the first week is not uncommon. Giving up the soda and iced coffee was a good choice. Especially the soda which has a lot of sodium in it. Some of the weight may have been excess water but 10 lbs is 10 lbs gone. you may see a slow down next week just keep at it.

I feel for you. I was an overweight teenager. I started dieting when I was 16 and I am still at it. My goal weight today is actually what I weighed when I first start dieting. The best advice I can give you is don't compare yourself to others. They do not have the same health condition you have. Use the food diary here to…

welcome back. I recommitted to MFP last august. I am doing much better this time than before. I track everything to the best of my ability. I don't beat myself if I have a bad day. Attitude is everything. YOU CAN DO THIS.

individual servings of ice cream are my best friend. lucerne has an ice cream sandwich that is only 150 calories. skinny cow and weight watchers ice creams are low cal and one of my favorites is a Popsicle brand fudgesicle (either low fat or sugar free)

I am also way over on my sodium many days. I was shocked when my dr told me that cheese has a lot of sodium in it. I love cheese. As others have said canned things and frozen dinners are also high in sodium and lunch meat hot dogs and smoked meats like sausage bacon and ham are high. try to use fresh or frozen vegetables…
