Mine was looking at the scale and seeing that I was around 300 lbs. It's been a bumpy ride since then, but that was when I said 'no more'.

I just rode 20+ miles, my longest continuous bike ride so far. B)

If I reach my initial goal weight of 165 lbs, I will be at 55% of my starting weight. Currently I am at ~70% of my heaviest weight.

When I am not too lazy to do it, I generally cook up a large batch of my homemade cottage cheese over the weekend.

It's at the gym. On a StairMaster. Most people working out on a StairMaster for any appreciable amount of time are going to sweat. So long as he wipes the machine down with the disinfectant spray and towel afterwards, I don't see the problem.

I like to drink herbal teas, water, or other low-calorie drinks during the day if I am saving calories for the evening.

I don't know if they fill you up, but I mix them with heated wheat bran and water to get my fiber for the day (It tastes kind of like oatmeal). They also have protein, omega 3s, and other beneficial nutrients.

Mine says 210, so I'm around the same weight again now. There has been a lot of weight gained and lost in between then and now, though...

I have a little portable pedal exerciser that I use, and that works really well for me. I can use it to do light exercise for long periods of time while I watch TV/movies or work on my computer.

I don't really eat tuna much anymore, but I used to eat it with melted cheddar cheese on top or mixed in.

I just bought 4 LARGE t-shirts that fit me. I used to wear XXL at one point. :)

I'm going to do some vigorous exercise beforehand, and keep other meals light or non-existent that day. Also, I may just stay around maintenance for the day. It is just one day, after all. :) Good luck!

They actually do still have the old recipe creator on the recipe webpage, to the right of the recipe box. I use the old one most of the time. :smile:

I rode my bicycle to school and back, 4+ miles each way.

I would be satisfied (for now) if I could just get across monkey bars. Right now I can't hang from one arm for the brief period of time to move my other hand to the next bar. :blushing:

I know exactly how you feel. I too have been overweight since I was a teenager, and I have a hard time imagining myself as being skinny.
