One thing I've learned it to cook your rice with a little butter, oil or Pam first...saute it for a few minutes, then add your water or broth. It makes it less 'gummy'. I do this will all my rice now, and it has helped a lot!

My favorite lunch is this: 12oz can of chicken breast, mixed with a small container of hummus (8oz?)...eat with a bagel thin, or whole wheat crackers. I have 1/3 cup for a serving, and it's 150 calories or so. It sounds gross, but I love it!

I just made this today, and was blown away!! We topped it with a tiny bit of hershey syrup and some whipped cream...now, I can't wait for some more over ripe bananas!! This is the consistency of gelato! I used my cuisinart.

I've been on 1200 since I started Jan. 2, I exercise so I'm allowed 1450...I find that if I eat 1200 or less, I don't lose! So frustrating!! My grandparents swear by some concotion they make with lots of fruit juices and vinegar added...they call it jogging juice, and drink it daily! They say it relieves all sorts of aches and pains. I know vinegar does wonders with cleaning around the house :-) PS..they're both super skinny :wink:
