Yep. This is where every guy's favorite term "getting lucky" comes into play.

I'll take a nap. Or a bubble bath. Or a long walk. Writing out my goals also helps. And for the times I need to actually get out of the house, I'll go out driving in search of a good iced tea (helps with cravings for cold treats).

6-7 times per day.

I totally agree as well.

I'm 5'1", super petite bone structure. My goal weight is around 97 lbs., but with the lean muscle that I am working to build, I might end up around 102-105. Not entirely sure, since I've never been as serious about strength workouts as I am now. P.S. In defense of petite girls trying to get to the 95-100 range - I've been…

Not at all. I figure that's what inspires them.

That story was annoying. :noway: McDonald's "happy meals" brings back some fun memories from childhood. Loved it then and love it now. (smoothies, mini parfaits, fries, iced coffees, soft serve, mmmm...) Honestly, I would choose McD's over a variety of other restaurants and fast food joints, for both taste AND health…

I would guess that it's some sort of digestion issue. The probiotics are a great suggestion. Trader Joe's sells some chewable digestive enzymes for like $2.99 that might be worth a try too! I would try to up my veggie intake and reduce gluten and sugary foods, which could definitely be contributing to some inflammation.

Lol, totally this.

Congrats! :flowerforyou: I worked there a while ago and the best part of the job was getting a discount at both V.S. and Bath & Body Works. The job was tough though and the managers expect you to have the customer service mindset of a car salesman! (Then again, I'm more of a stocking kinda gal.) If you can become super…

I'm like you. I need dessert every day. Definitely dealing with a little sugar addiction here. I'll have chocolate (Hershey's or Ghiradelli milk chocolate caramel bars)... a little bit of icecream..... or these cheap little candy apples with caramel and peanuts that I get from the supermarket.

As a fellow MFPer, I would suggest that you try to eat as clean as possible, stay under your calorie limit, and try to get a really nice, long walk in 4-5 times per week. As someone who has struggled with primary depression and generalized anxiety for 15+ years, I would suggest the above PLUS go see a…

Who are you doing this for... you? Or your friends/"friends"? I think MFP works best when you expect absolutely NOTHING from people on your friends' list. After all, most of these people probably do not know you personally in the real world. Also, this method is great because when you expect absolutely nothing, you can be…

I was at my lowest weight with my best complexion/hair/energy at a time when I was having a huge bowl of cheerios for dinner every night with skim milk. But if you are concerned about dairy, go for organic dairy or almond milk. And as far as cereals go, try to avoid anything with over 3-4 grams of sugar.

Certain foods make me feel happier, fuller, calmer, more energetic and/or stronger than others. Also, the same foods that tend to help me feel calm and strong are foods that help my skin and hair look awesome and are less likely to cause further cravings. But to each their own.

If it seriously gets to you, you can always try approaching people, asking about their goals, and offering a few good tips that you have learned along the way. I wouldn't mind a cute and/or buff guy approaching me and offering me some guidelines for weight lifting. I am new to lifting and absolutely clueless about the…
