you're not supposed to eat them back using this method. your TDEE is supposed to include your excercise. that's why the T stands for TOTAL.

eating back your exercise calories is only counterproductive if you included your exercise when you calculated your calorie goal. if you used MFP's method, they generally expect you to eat back the exercise calories. if you're worried that the calorie burn from weightlifting given by MFP is too high, knock 50 cals off…

yes, you need to be eating them back. how long did it take you to lose 2 lbs and how much weight do you have to lose? what is your height and current weight?
-
if your goal is 1200, then your net needs to be 1200 at th end of the day. eat back your exercise calories.
-
they probably take advantage of that just to make the calorie counts look that much lower

i use this as well. i have tried mixing greek yogurt with the packet and wasn't thrilled with the taste.

trying to trick people into eating when you're not and dodging questions about your intake is classic ana behavior. if i had seen that post online, i would have skipped it without bothering to read it after the title and the first few sentences. yes, sometimes people have 100 calories for dinner because they had a lot…

she's referring to the emphasis put on it by the OP. the OP feels like she needs to trick her family and friends into thinking that she's eating more than she is, because she supposedly binged earlier in the day. part of maintaining a healthy mentality towards dieting is realizing that sometimes things are out of your…

the wording on the blog is definitely red flags for disordered eating habits and thoughts. if you don't want people to think you have an ED, avoid that language.
-
you probably should eat a little more. as you have less weight to lose, you shouldn't be aiming for more than 1/2 - 1 lb a week.
-
just eating bad food doesn't make you gain weight. eating TOO MUCH of ANY kind of food makes you gain weight. it doesn't matter if you "feel" hungry - at a certain point, you NEED calories. if that means eating a snickers bar so that you net 1200 calories a day (that means that you eat back any calories that you burn…

sweating does not necessarily indicate that you're working hard. just make sure that you're well hydrated, and check your heart rate to make sure that you are working at the intensity you think your'e working out at.

i don't do IF, but i've experienced this when i've had to inadvertently go longer than i'd like without eating. i think it's an ancient defense mechanism - to keep you from getting too distracted by hunger to notice the lion about to rip your head off and eat you or something along those lines.

congrats on your weight loss! there's some good advice here - make sure you're relatively familiar with gym etiquette and most people will be too focused on their own workout to care. of course, there will be people who are going to judge you. but losing another 30 lbs won't get rid of all judgement. in general, the people…

for me, i know i'm used to celebrating anything and everything with food. i'm trying to break myself of thinking that i can reward a loss with an ice cream sandwich or something of the like - it's totally counterproductive! maybe try to plan a non-food reward for your next big loss (like a tattoo, new clothes, massage, etc)

1 - if you're not taking any pain killers, start doing so. 2 - this won't help you now, but start taking one or two pain pills a day a few days before your period. this was recommended to me when i was pushed to vomiting during my period because of cramps (before i started BC).

MFP often calculates too low for protein. read this: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/819055-setting-your-calorie-and-macro-targets?hl=setting+your+macro+targets

one of these websites has "before" and "after" photos that's clearly just the same photo, but one is photoshopped to make it look skinny...i'm dying.

Gender: F • Age: 24 • Starting weight: 185 • Current weight: 160 • Goal weight: 150 • What are your reasons for wanting to lose/gain weight? (Please state which) unhappy with my body. i want a flat stomach • Tell me a bit about your past… (Were you always unhappy with your weight? Did it begin in childhood? Did a specific…

one of the links explains the difference between semi-starvation and full-starvation modes. what you're in now is the "semi-starvation" - you're not eating enough to release weight, but you're still eating enough to stay alive. up your calories to your BMR for 6 weeks. you might gain weight at first as your body readjusts…

in ounces. so if 1/2 your body weight is 80 lbs, drink 80 oz of water.

whether or not you eat back your exercise calories depends on how you set your calorie goal. if you use a TDEE calculator and then subtract 10% or 20% from that number, you do NOT eat your exercise calories back. if you set your calorie goal on MFP, you do eat your exercise calories back, because MFP doesn't account for…

theoretically, if you're well hydrated, your body will retain less water because it is confident that you have reliable access to clean drinking water. water retention occurs when your body needs to hold on to water for some reason - for example, after lifting weights, your body clings to more water than ususal in order to…

my mother experienced that hunger. i don't know what her daily calorie goal was (i was quite a bit younger when she started it) but i know that she did sometimes have to just go to bed obscenely early because she was too hungry to just sit awake and be miserable. i think that once you've adjusted from getting your energy…

i didn't realize soy milk had so much protein. i don't really drink any milk at all, but my husband's on almond milk now cause it makes his slimfast shakes lower calorie. i'm afraid to use the substitutes in hamburger helper though, and we have that at least once a week. eta i'm just glad this didn't turn out to be some…

you could get a pass for eagle creek park...i ride through and around it as part of most of my rides. it's a little hilly/the roads aren't great in some places, but there's a lot fewer cars. just watch out for deer...

i'm just gonna say i'd bet money he wanted to flirt with you. if you need to use them, just do it. if someone approaches you about it and makes you uncomfortable, you're entitled to give them a frosty look and turn back to your lifting.
