How come i have only just seen this post??. Any way, well done Ben. Great work - you've done so well and your motivation and support to your MFP friends is second to none. Keep up the good work and you'll reach your goal in no time.

Really, i didn't know that. Do you just wear the chest strap and transmitter as normal then ?

Bump. Very interesting read. I'm at the point where I'm in maintenance but need to tone.

The best way to feel the accountability in my opinion is adding friends and opening your diary for people to view and comment on. Good luck :-)

I go through phases where i find dance music motivating such as ministry of sound compilations, but then sometimes i'll find rock uplifting such as Foo fighters. My playlists are always evolving.

I had the exact same weekend. A real bad one with beer and party food. Today is a new day and my diary is superb so far.

I don't really work a night shift but i do start work at 3am so my day starts at 02:15. I go to bed about 21:15. My diary is broken down into 5 sections 02:15 - 06:00, 06:00- 10:00, 10:00-14:00, 14:-17:00 17:00 -22:00. I just log anything i eat / drink into the relevant time slot. I did post a while back asking about the…

My working day starts at 02:00 at i generally go to bed at around 21;00. I don't really stick to conventional meal times so found it works better for me to have my diary in time format. 02:00 - 06:00 06:00 - 10:00 10:00 - 14:00 14:00 - 17:00 17:00 - 21:00 Works best for me

I have the FT4 and it's a great hrm. Every workout I have done since I purchased it back in April has been monitored using my FT4 and I wouldn't exercise without it now. 5 stars from me.

Really enjoyed reading that. Well done for everything you have achieved. I love running also. :-)

Wow, i thought you were going to say you had followed a intense program like P90X.

Looks like you've worked hard. What workout are you following and any advice, tips or ideas in order to achieve the toned look you have. Thanks & Well done.

Ive been training since mid April for a half marathon in October.

I'm a Mac user and yes i have the Polar FT4. I just simply enter the data from my HRM into a excel spreadsheet which gives me trends, averages and other information. Only takes 30-40 seconds to enter the data after each workout.

It seems a little high to me. over a thousand cals in 55 mins is a very high burn for walking. Dbl check everything has been entered correctly on your HRM and maybe try the exact same walk again to compare the results. What HRM are you using ?

NIce read. I bet when that customer orders again they ask for you specifically to deliver the goods. I'm also a trucker, not long distance, I'm home every night. I have been in that situation so many times when the fork lift has broken down or there are no bays or they just have no equipment at all. I always treat them the…

I'm in for the Coventry half marathon in October this year. That's all I have planned so far but would like to get a few more sorted to give me targets to aim for. I was looking into the "wolf" run earlier today but not sure if I'm being a little to ambitious. (. http://www.thewolfrun.com/. )

Hi, your definitely in the right place to help you achieve your goals. The tools MFP offers and the community spirit of the MFP members is the best out there. Good luck on your journey.

Well done mate. A great story and an inspiration to us all. My story is pretty much the same as yours. I'm in training for a half marathon in October. All signed up and training going well. I'm hitting 8 miles regularly. I just need to sort out a charity and sponsors now to make it worth while.

Welcome aboard indeed. Your in the right place.
