  • An awkward answer: It could be stress or depression. Those can also cause you lose interest in sex. It could also be a hormonal thing too. Since you are not on an antidepressant or BC, then those two can easily be ruled out. Have there been any changes in your life? New job? Moved to a new house/apartment? Loss of a family…
  • Welcome! This is a great site for what you are looking for. Although I have exercised in the past, I haven't as much now. It will take a while, but if you are patient, you will lose weight. Too many people want to lose weight now and don't want to take the effort to make it last. Good luck!
  • Welcome from Kansas! :D

  • Welcome Soaplady! This site is great for losing a little, or a lot. Tracking really does help. Once I started tracking, I realized I was eating 2500+ calories a day! Now I'm down under 1700. It took a while, but it has been worth it. Good luck!

  • Welcome to MFP! My wife introduced me to this site and I've been having a lot of success so far. You'll be hungry for a while, but then your body will adjust to the lowered calories and you won't be as hungry. Also, you'll get full faster. I used to have to eat 500 calories for breakfast to feel full, now I can eat around…
  • Well said! I agree.
  • I do things a little different. When I have a craving for something sweet (usually soda), I make myself drink tea instead. It doesn't always work, but I've cut down on the soda...a lot. Good luck!
