That's some pretty terrific results!!!!!

I run because I can. I couldn't always say that (still recovering from an injury that took place a three years ago and nearly made me immobile).

Bump. NeWas just thinking about this earlier today.

Commercials, in general, are marketing ploys that play with your head. Women especially. Hence why I do not watch TV anymore. Netflix/download my shows and I'm done. No more buying useless crap, feeling like i need to measure up to Hollywood, etc. ETA - Except Dove. I love their commercials - real women, etc. There was one…

Personally, I do not find eloping to be romantic at all. It's kind of lonely not to share that day with those you care about. If money is a concern, have a small wedding with a handful of people at a small church/in the park, whatever, and just get cake and champagne and be done with it.

hahahahah.... yup.

I saved up my calories for my Man Candy Friday.

This gave me the hibby-jibbies!

That's awesome. What's that app you're running?
-
Agreed.

Bumpity bump.

Ummm... I am sorry if this sounds rude, but why on earth did 10 years pass since the last time you had steak??

Sorry your SO is not supportive. Mine loves it. I catch him checking me out constantly now. He loves me no matter my size, but I can tell he is a lot more attracted to me now - maybe its just because I am starting to love getting dressed again, and starting to like the way I look? idk, but he is very supportive - he will…

hahahaha..... I read that as "poop cycle". Made me laugh.

Wow! You all look amazing! I am hoping to do insanity after I finish my Chalean Extreme Challenge. Inspire me ppl!

We have a cruise planned for August with the kids (visiting Barmuda, Haiti, Puerto Rico and St. Thomas) and a trip to Hawaii planned for December. I love traveling so much!

Exactly. McDonalds made him fat, so he had to turn to MFP. Poor guy. Find a job where you can work from home, and then they won't be able to check your comp history. Solved it for you.

I have a glass of wine nearly daily - I LOVE my wine and will not give it up for faster results. If you are drinking very heavily, I would alternate water/wine, sip slowly, etc. Workout more so you have enough calories to drink, but if you try and give it up, you will give up on this journey.

I have to say that when I crush, it's often based on character (if he is kind and makes me laugh, I won't stop thinking of him). Outer apperance is definitely secondary to me (unless he is really unattractive and then his personality is just beyond what my eye can spot).

I'm with ya!!!

If you like tuna/chicken salad, try this: Peel cucumber, cut it into thick round slices, scoop out the inside and stuff it with Tuna/chicken salad. Instead of mayo, use avocado as the binder.

Done and done.

I'm sorta climbing out of this very boat! My husband is not overweight as much as he is really out of shape (any little phsycal activity (climbing stairs, running for 10 seconds) is very hard for him), but he could probably stand to lose 20-30 lbs. I started on this journey in December 2012 and he adamantly refused to jump…

Dani, I cannot fathom how difficult this life style change must be for you. Obviously, the weight did not creep on over the course of a year, so you really need to make changes to the way you approach food and the food choices you make. I went over your diary and noticed that you went over by 1,800 cals the other day…
-
Agreed!

This. I am going on a cruise this August (9 days) and I am planning on drinking plenty of water, using the gym each day and eating/drinking a bit of anything I want, because, hey, I'm on vacation and I deserve it, and so do you!
-
wow..... how self-critical are we? I can completely see myself in these women. sad

You are not overweight, by any means. If you want to "look" 135, and feel more comfortable in your own skin, lift weights and get toned/stronger. ETA: Plus, by lifting you could eat more so you won't feel like you are starving!
