I am currently eating 1200 to lose. I think in order to maintain I will have to eat about 1400-1500. I am not sure if I can keep that up for the rest of my life in order to maintain my goal weight, but I guess I will worry about that when I get there.... In the meantime, I'll just sit here and chomp on carrots... lol

I am actually going to the one in NYC Any idea as to caloric content for the salmon with mushrooms? I am leaning toward that, but MFP is saying even that is over 500 (sides not included)...

I used to eat a "healthy" wrap of egg whites and diced tomato every morning - until I found out the wrap was about 350... add the egg whites, tomato and the coffee and my breakfast was costing me nearly 500 cals - almost half my day's cals.... yikes!

I live in NY and while I love a lot of things about living here, I dream of sunnier days, far, far away....

I do the same... I used to try and eat a healthy breakfast (oatmeal, etc.) but then I find I get hungry at lunch and then I dont have enough cals for dinner... so now I just have a fruit with coffee in the morning and save my cals for dinner, so I can eat with my family.

Yup!! My reward is a Hawaii vacation with my husband (minus the kids) - cannot wait! My "punishment"? Alaska in the dead of winter... I'm going to be working hard to keep my butt from freezing next year!!! haha

I think baby weight is a different monster than regular weight you put on from overeating or whatever, and its therefore much harder to lose.. while everyone is different, and some can lose it faster than others, I def have an annoying and ugly stomach pouch that even when I lost a lot of weight and was doing crunches…
