  • Finished today!! Woohooooooooo!!!! I am so proud of myself, with 2 kids, one a newborn, and a husband that works 12 hours a day, and no family around for help, I managed to make time (almost) every day to do this! It took me longer than 30 days but not much longer!! I am going to do my measurements tomorrow so I will post…
  • Mine are pretty random. I have a newborn and a toddler and some days I just can't fit it in (sad that I can't even fit in 20 minutes...) !! I have definitely taken more than I wanted but I just keep telling myself that it really doesn't have to be done in 30 days!
  • I do that! Whenever I feel burnt out or like I am not giving it my all, I take a rest day and come back even harder! L3D5 done! I can't believe I am so close! I had hoped to have miraculously lost all the weight in 30 days but doesn't look like that's happening ;) I do feel better, stronger and more confident though!
  • Just thought I would share this to anyone feeling discouraged: I wasn't feeling like 30DS was working, i had gained weight and I was very, very discouraged. Once I finished up L2, the morning I was to start L3 I woke up and weighed myself to find a 5lb loss! I then measured and I have a total loss of 9 inches! 1 inch off…
  • L3D1 done today! I like this level so much better than L2, I absolutely dreaded doing that everyday! I was hoping for less impact on my knee this level but I guess not. I can't wait to see the results at the end of this level. The results at the end of the other two made the sweat and tears worth it :)
  • Wow you look great! Keep up the good work!
  • I posted in the other thread that I was having the same issues but today I did L2D4 and my back didn't hurt at all! I also moved up to L2 early because my back was so bad but everyday I do L2 it gets better. Must have been doing something wrong in L1. I say go ahead and move up if you want. Just do L2 a little longer. They…
  • When I did 30DS after my daughter was born, I did it without sneakers and ended up with tendinitis. This time I always wear sneakers!
  • I have that same pain. It hurts so bad when I do jump rope or jumping jacks. I thought it was my boobs and maybe I needed a more supportive bra but if others doing the shred are experiencing it then maybe it is from a particular exercise. Today I had to take an unplanned rest day but yesterday was L2D3 and my back hurt…
  • I had a day like this yesterday, D8L1. I felt defeated, I also worked out later in the day so that must be it. Today, D9L1, was so much better! I felt stronger today. Keep it up, we all have bad days sometimes :(
  • I just finished L1D8 and for some reason today hurt! I had just been telling my husband how it was getting easier and that I might move up early! Maybe I was just having an off day? Guess I will just wait till day 10 to move up, just to be safe. Also, anyone else have trouble with the jumping jacks and jump rope because of…
  • Welcome! I know it can seem overwhelming but it is totally doable. First, start logging what you eat and I mean EVERYTHING! Once you know how many calories you are consuming, you can start to cut them down, probably drastically. Second, get on that treadmill, elliptical or weight machine, better yet do them all! Once you…
  • Hi! My daughter is 20 months! Feel free to add me and I will do my best to motivate you :)
  • My goal was actually 17 lbs but rounding it off to 20 can't hurt! Please add me if you like and hopefully we can do this with support!
  • Congrats! Jeans and I also share a love/hate relationship. I hope I have that aha moment someday too!
  • I also log it as circuit training!
  • I don't know what time is "better" to workout, but I always find I have more pep and enthusiasm for my workouts in the morning!
  • Its a great workout but if you are asking I will share some advice  WEAR GOOD SNEAKERS and STRETCH (more than she does with you)!!!! Good luck!
  • I love 30 day shred and yes it works! I do the shred in the morning (usually) and then some weight loss pilates and yoga in the evening.
  • I actually was doing it barefoot and thought that might be the issue. I bought some good sneakers the other day and today will be day 3 with the sneakers. I am really hoping this helps since I really don't want to stop because my ankles hurt :blushing:
  • Weigh in today, 2 lbs down! 5 more to reach my feb goal. Good work everyone, keep it up!
  • I haven't encountered any of the "drama" yet but your goals and focus are very similar to mine. I would be happy to support you in your journey, if you would do the same for me. Sending you a request now!
  • L1D10 complete! Today, thanks to the advice of Steph, I took it a little slower and tried to watch my form since my ankles are killing me. I did try to follow Natalie and did well except for the push-ups. I think I am going to wait a day or two to move up in hopes that my ankles will feel a little better. Keep up the good…
  • Don't get too down on yourself. Take a day off if you need it. One or two days off of exercise won't sabotage your progress. I hope you feel better soon. I know how hard it is to get motivated sometimes...
  • L1D9 complete! Anyone else's ankles hurt? Mine are freaking killing me and I can't figure out why. Can't decide if I want too move up after 10 days. Is L2 a killer?
  • I feel the same way! I can't believe I waited and made excuses for so long. One day I just woke up and said enough is enough! I actually ENJOY exercising and I love discovering new, delicious, healthy recipes. I just hope this motivation and determination doesn't waiver too much before I reach my goal...
