I'm the same way, I didn't feel comfortable syncing with Facebook. My husband is also on MFP, but no one else knows what I'm doing. If they did, certain people would make it feel more like a contest or race and I don't want to play that way. This site is so supportive and unlike anything I've ever used!! :drinker:

My husband and I are avid cyclists. We do a ride here in Iowa every summer called RAGBRAI.....it's a blast! I can't really recommend a specific bike, but would recommend to go to a good bike shop and tell them what you're interested in and the type of biking you plan on doing. They can help you find the perfect bike!

Yeah, what she said! :happy: I also add it into my fruit smoothie for the boost in my numbers. I also drink a shake after working out each morning, partially for recovery and partially because it will shut the stomach up until I can get to work to eat breakfast.

I am so with you on this. I've been waiting so long for spring and warm weather to get here....love the sun! I do workout indoors, but am getting really anxious to start doing it outside!

I've never heard a good thing about diet pills....and chances are, once she gets off of them, the weight may come back on. I'm sure some people would disagree, but it's just my opintion :smile: You're doing it the right way, by making a lifestyle change....eating better, and working out. You'll be fine!

I'm on week 2 as well, and love it! ....except that I've sidelined myself for a few days by over doing it. Hoping to get back into it tomorrow! The app for the iphone is awesome, and the runs go by very quickly. Good luck!

I am starting the C25K program later this week once the temps get above freezing and am looking forward to it. I ran many years ago and was at my lightest weight ever at that time.
