Most definitely adjust them. MFP has a low target set for protein so I would at least double it to 30%. Also, I would recommend eating closer or slightly over your target calories. Having a bigger deficit doesn't necessarily equate with losing more weight. If anything you are at a higher risk of not getting enough…

No. Didn't say you made one. Re-read. Pointing out the fact that she made a "mock thread" in the chit chat section where dozens of regs like yourself do all day long....yeah I do think that was busting her balls a bit. Even if it was factual. Nevertheless, I'm sure she'll think twice next time.

Also remember, the more muscle mass you can preserve during deficit the higher your calorie burn is at rest. That alone keeps me going when it gets tough.

Another possibility is exertion headaches. Mine have been a mystery for the last couple of months, and I noticed them develop on days I worked out. Apparently I was unconsciously holding my breath and keeping my neck tensed during running and lifting. Once I corrected those two things they went away. Hope you feel better…
