I hear ya! :drinker: I've had to change what I'm drinking. I don't really drink beer, but if I do, I can guarantee it won't be a "light" one. I'm a wine and mixed drinks gal myself. I used to bartend so I'm fairly adept at modifying sizes etc and still getting the flavor I want. Gin and diet tonic with lemon (not lime) is…

There's a lot of talk about "eating clean", bad carbs, good carbs, sugar, fat, etc etc. But the bottom line is calories in, calories out. You need to burn more than you consume if you want to see and feel the results. I think as long as you are getting enough nutrients and water, you should be able to indulge in some…

Funny you should ask...it's 2:59 pm my time and I was just thinking about what I could snack on... I try to keep my desk stocked with good things. Fruit 100- cal packs of whatever instant oatmeal

I sometimes have a similar foot cramp issue after working out--usually in the arch of my foot. Are your shoes supportive enough? Too hard or squishy? Try getting some gel insoles specially designed for athletics. Hydrate enough and stretch--even your feet and toes. If the issue still persists, you may want to check with…

You can add me. We all need friends in this journey!

Don't be scared! Jillian Michaels DVDs are awesome and you'll feel great (sore at first, but then great!) I've done them for a couple of year and love them.

That's awesome! I just got all teary-eyed reading your lovely tribute to your mom. She looks great!

We had this the other night--delish! We used tilapia instead of grouper. Cod would probably work just as well. http://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/grouper-with-puttanesca-sauce-10000000682963/

I eat them and I log them. I try to log everything.

I'm feeling that pain today as well. Lots of water. Light cardio--brisk walking, or bike ride. Then back to it tomorrow if you're up to it.
-
Log everything. Drink lots of water. Chew sugarless gum. Get busy doing something non-food related. After a while it will become second nature. Good luck!

Congrats! I did the same thing...but I felt like dying.

I love sauerkraut on a hot dog or sausage! I guess it depends on how much you use. I use enough to count it as a veg.

Wow! Incredible transformation.

For breakfast this morning I had 2 scrambled eggs (using olive oil pan spray) and instead of ketchup for a garnish, I used sriracha sauce. Yeah, ok. I almost needed a Tums, but if you are into spicy, this might be a good breakfast or even nice protein snack item for you. Just a thought....

I had to take about 3 weeks off myself--cold that morphed into a sinus infection. No energy for much of anything other than just getting to and from work. Thank goodness for antibiotics. I'm back to the gym on Monday. I know for myself it will take a week or so to get back up to speed. I think as long as you are staying on…

During the week (at my desk at work)--Quaker instant oatmeal or a Yoplait light yogurt with a fat free English muffin and light butter. On weekends, 2 scrambled eggs using olive oil spray in the pan. Sometimes I add some lowfat cheese to the eggs, or a bunch of veggies for an omelet. Oh, and coffee...always coffee. FF 1/2…

5pm-ish--right after work. Great way to blow off stress from the day. Plus I have an hour commute home, so no way I want to work out after sitting in a traffic jam for that long.

Salsa and lowfat cheddar cheese. Yum!

Tomorrow is another day. Don't beat yourself up--you're human. We make mistakes. Hopefully we learn from them and move on. Don't give up, you can do this.
