Roasted vegetables!! I love the mixture of root vegetables with red peppers and onions along with some olive oil. I tried a glazed turnip recipe last week from allrecipes and they were delicious! Reflect on the good, acknowledge the bad and move on..... Have you ever played gold? Dieting is the same thing for me, there's always the next the next hole/day and there are good strokes/parts of each hole/day that you can say worked well. Kind of simplistic, but works for me.

Oatmeal, eggs, salad, Good olive oil and balsamic vinegar, greek yogurt, almonds, blueberries, sandwich thins, pita chips, spinach avacado yogurt dip, carrots, chicken breasts, pork, wild fish ( no farm fish) My treats- apple in microwave with peanut butter and chia seeds, 100 calorie ice cream sandwiches, fresh fruit.

Two weeks of guests, one a beach goer and the second was a golfer who liked to walk. Time spent doing is time well spent worth the would haves, could haves and should haves. Exercise is great for body and mind, keep on biking and you will see results.

I am only in Florida for another 2 weeks, and once back in NH it's going to be a challenge to get miles in, but I am motivated to challenge myself to 100 miles for November and will include everything, running, walking and biking.

:smile: Late getting to my walk today but got in 2.46 for the day now 17.88/ goal 80. It's not flat here where I live in NH so the hills are good for the burn. Will be able to do more distance next week when I get down to Florida for a visit. Giving up foliage and hills for palm trees and beach, not a bad trade.

I sauteed it last night in basil olive oil and b/c I was so hungry, fried an egg in the same pan and mixed it all together. Very good and filling. Usually I saute with oil and garlic and eat it like spinach some balsamic vinegar on it.
