I juice almost the same recipe every morning. It's delicious and refreshing, but not very sweet. Makes about 36-40 ounces. Green Juice: 2 green apples 2 cucumbers 7 stalks celery 3 handfuls spinach 2 handfuls Brussels sprouts 1/2 lemon (organic, you can leave the skin on) 1 inch ginger 1/4 cup of coconut water Enjoy!…

I try to start every morning with a green juice or smoothie. Some days a 32 ounce juice will hold me until lunch, but on days I work out in the morning I add 1/2 egg sandwich or 1/2 pbj. I think you have to listen to your body and if you genuinely aren't hungry don't eat.

Looking at your diary, I'd suggest adding more fresh fruit and veggies. They are rich in nutrients and fiber and will stay with you longer than what you're eating now. Also, if you stop drinking your calories you'll be able to eat more. For me, getting rid of the excess sugar, soda, etc, helped me a lot and also helped me…

I love Turbo Jam and I saw on the beachbody website it's now 75% off. I also regularly use Zumba, Leslie Sasone and Tara Stiles DVDs. It's nice to have a variety.

Look for something that is made specifically for chlorine removal. They can be pricey, but will save your hair. As a blonde, if I am not diligent about hair washing it turns a beautiful shade of green. Ultra swim is a common brand that they should carry everywhere. I like Ion Purifying Solutions Swimmer's Shampoo, it's…

It's an acquired taste, but I love it! Vanilla, plain, chocolate...it's got just the right sweetness for me. My husband was use to soy, which is way sweeter to me, but after a few weeks he switched too. Haven't had any other type of milk in our home in almost two years. You can even make your own at home.

I indulge in celebratory moments. I think it's best to not let your eating control your life because you'll obsess over it. For me, when I chose to indulge, I do just that. The next morning, I get up and keep going like any other day, no guilt. So far it's been great. My best friend was here last week and we went out three…

Well I think the benefits are different for everyone. Personally, I suffer from fibromyaglia and migraines and I've found that juicing helps me to control the pain. When I juice daily, the inflammation in my body is reduced tremendously, I have energy to spare and I just feel great. Juicing is low calorie, so replacing at…

I juice at least once per day and over time I've found I like them with less and less fruit. Here's my go to recipe that makes enough for my husband and I to both have a huge glass. GREEN JUICE 3 small green apples 2 cucumbers peeled unless organic 7 stalks of celery 3 handfuls of spinach 2 handfuls of brussels sprouts 1/2…

I eat them almost everyday in one three ways. I shred them raw in a salad, juice them or eat them roasted. You just slice them, put em in a glass baking dish with a little bit of olive oil, salt and pepper and roast them 10 minutes or so at about 400. They'll start to get dark and crunchy around the edges and the crispy…

I like to use lentils with cauliflower that I've grated. The lentils are hearty enough to be filling but mixed with the cauliflower and other veg they have a nice texture to them and bite. I also like to roast cubed potatoes in the oven with a little oil and taco seasoning. They are crispy and crunchy and I like to make a…
