Exactly how I see it. Sometimes temptation is way to big for me to stop... so I eat it, but those are few and far between.

There is a boot that you can get online ore even at a CVS or Walgreen's. You sleep in this boot and it helps, SO MUCH! I know because I had to buy this boot because of my plantar fascitis. Just google plantar fascitis boot and you can find a good one for you... good luck!

Omega 3's are great for adding the benefits of fat. You can also eat more meats and egg products. Add in olive oil and hopefully you should be set... good luck

My suggestion is to go an look for easy 30 min diabetic or low gi cookbooks and plan your meals out with them every week.... that is how I do it. But some staples in my house is salad fixings, fresh and canned fruits, fat free, lactose free milk, thinkthin bars (breakfast), broccoli/cauliflower/carrots for steamed sides…

Either way you "crack the egg" at McD's they still coat the grill with fake butter crap before they cook the eggs. You still get unneeded fat.... Here is a better idea for at home if you really want to have an egg in the morning. You can bake a whole bunch on the weekend and just pull them out as needed…

Get an xbox kinect and do Zumba, dance central and stuff like that.... I live in MN also and I have NO desire to go and drive to a gym in this crap weather... I was told to keep a diabetic diet. Try to keep it low glycemic index and ALL carbohydrates at under 40% per day. That is darn hard... so I accustomed my diet to allow 45%.

This is a WONDERFUL breakfast food. You can mix a little jelly and honey into it and top pancakes or waffles. You can add a 1 tsp of sugar and 1 tsp of Cinnamon to 1/2 cup of ricotta and place it on top of toasted cinnamon raisin bread... YUM! You can even get fancy and mix thawed frozen fruit and honey to fill up Crepes!
