  • I had a doc tell me to do this stretch when I had shin pain as a beginning runner - keeping your bare feet flat on a towel on the floor and, using your toes only, try to draw up or bunch up the towel. Sounds weird, but it was quite a stretch. After awhile, I no longer needed to do it. Good luck.
  • Don't know if this is the 'proper' way, but I just created an exercise and entered the calories burned from my HRM. I couldn't see any other way to add them and get the accurate calorie burn. Maybe someone else has a better way...
  • Could be sesamoiditis, if the pain is under your big toe and on the ball of your foot (medial) and pushing off is painful. Rest is indicated for sesamoiditis, with a follow-up with doc if pain persists.

  • you (and your spouse) have put enough miles on the treadmill to crack the deck, literally....and getting a new treadmill is a top priority.
