I like anything upbeat: Madonna, Blackeye Peas, etc.. I find I workout harder if the music tempo is fast because I end up synchronizing my steps to it. Hip-hop is good too. I can't cite a particular group because I really don't know their names. I'm 53 and just turn my Sirius satellite radio on and get to stepping.

Normal BMI is my goal. The shock of being classed "morbidly obese" was my wake up call. I have lost over 50 pounds now and my BMI is 28.8. I am still in the overweight category, but I plan to lose 20 more pounds by November. Great job. Thanks for the motivation.

Soup is my mainstay. I get up at 3:15 am to get ready for work and get home at 7:40 pm. That doesn't leave me time to prep a good lunch or dinner.
