My concern would be, if I start with 1kg of homemade yoghurt with 3% fat, if I strain off 500g if whey, does this mean I now have a 6% fat yoghurt? Or does some of the fat strain off in the whey?

Thanks for this. I didn't realise there were BMR calculators. Mine came back at 1590. I should try sticking to this instead of the 1200 I was originally given. Although it seems like a lot of food, and I am scared I will add in treats.
