I have the Fitbit Zip and LOVE it. Hook it to my bra first thing in the morning and forget about it until an hour before bedtime to make sure I have all my steps in.

OH and honestly, its just 30.5 lbs. that I lost but over 25+ inches from my body. Just goes to show inches are more important than lbs. For instance I lost 12 inches on my waist and another 6 inches on my thighs.

Thanks again everyone for the compliments and the friend request. For those of you I have helped motivate, I am extremely glad. I wish I could give all of you some secret advice on how to lose the weight, but honestly it just takes a lot of motivation and hard work. I exercise everyday for at least 30 minutes but most days…

I don't have "cheat" days per say. Every couple of weeks I have to up my calories for a day or 2 to get the scale moving again but I log every thing and stay within my calories. In 80 days I haven't had an all out eat what I want day yet, but I know its coming!

I got my fitbit from my husband for a valentine's day present. Something that I had been wanting. My first day I walked 3500 steps and was shocked at how much I wasn't moving. It took me a month to get to 5000 steps a day regularly. Then one day I walked the mall with some great friends and they pushed me until I hit…

The protein recommendation is WAY to low so I try to stay under 100 but its in the red everyday. I work on my sodium trying to keep it low but the others are almost always green.

I am in! I tried zumba for the first time yesterday! LOVED it. I found a link from the message board that is 45 minutes of zumba on you tube. Here is the link for anyone who wants to try it. I have a bad back and left knee but I could keep up.…

Congratulations! I can't wait for that day to come.

I wear mine ALL the time and only track my food and exercise using MFP. Hope you are liking it!

This is going to sound strange BUT I talk myself out of it. I ask myself how I am going to feel after I eat that and the answer is always the same. Fat and bloated. I just tell myself over and over....."nothing feels as good as being thin feels". If I have to eat something I drink a glass of water first and if I am still…

You can do this! I had 114.1 lbs. I wanted to loss. After 5 weeks I am officially down 16 lbs., two clothes sizes and alot of inches! My hips no longer hurt when I walk, I sleep better and most of all I feel fabulous. Welcome!

I can't wait till I get fit enough to do your challenges. They sound like so much fun but if I did them right now I would hurt something!

My husband is the same way. He eats ALOT of things that I won't eat now. Luckily he works night shift and I work days so I don't see him eating all that junk. What I did, because he complained so much, is I go to the grocery store and get all the snacks and "bad" food he wants. He has his own cabinet in the kitchen that I…

It's been a month for me today and I lost 14.1 lbs. I didn't think that was enough until I read your post. Remember we each loss at our own rate and you really can't compare yourself to someone else. That's what I keep telling myself. Any amount lost on the scale is an iimprovement!! Way to go!

I got a Fitbit Zip 4 days ago. I thought I was walking alot more than I actually was so now it makes me "think" about getting up and exercising. Haven't figured out how to sync it to MFP but I find I don't really need it. At the end of the day I take the # of steps and divide that by 20. That tells me how many calories I…

I am so gonna save this so I can read it over and over again for inspiration!

Great job! I hope this is me this time next year.

I am alot like you and just had surgery so I'm on a walk only exercise program for another week. I don't know about video's but I do try to walk everyday and once I am cleared for exercise again I am going to try zumba (at my own pace) and water aerobics. Of course I live in the south so its warm enough to go swimming.
