Hello everyone. Please add me.....I have at least 100 lbs. to lose. Probably should aim for 150 lbs. I broke my back last year and have been using that as an excuse for too long. Time to put ME ME ME first!

Seems there are alot of us that let our weight get away from us. What are your goals for 2020? I broke my back this past summer so besides losing 100 lbs. I want to get back to walking 3k, biking and in my dreams riding a horse.

What an inspiration! I told myself on June 22nd of this year that I was going to lose 100 lbs. in the next year. You have proven I can do it!!! Perhaps I will get on my husband's Indian Motorcycle then.

How is everyone this morning? Sun is shining here and it's a good day to get outside and enjoy the sun. My MRI is scheduled for this morning and hope they find out what is causing my back pain so I can get back to zumba. Hope everyone has a great day!

Hi everyone. I am very interested in joining this group and if anyone needs friends please add me. I am 56 years old. This is my 2nd serious attempt at losing over 100 lbs. If not having the gastric sleeve in January of 2020. I have about 140 lbs I want to get rid of. On a strict doctor supervised diet. Lots if protein…

I kept it simple......whole wheat pancake mix (the just add water kind), mixed in a tablespoon of pumpkin, added a couple of dashes of pumpkin pie spice and made pancakes. Sugar free syrup on top or just a tiny dash of powdered sugar. Did the trick for my pumpkin fix!

Count me in! Even with a cruise planned in December......I need this!

Hi there! I am 55 and starting yet again. I think this is my 3rd or 4th time in 5 years. I love to eat but it is finally catching up to me and under doctors supervision, I am losing weight again. I live in central KY.

Hate to admit it but this is my 3rd time, 3rd year back at it. Each time I lost 70+ LBS. just to gain it back thru the winter. What can I say.... I love sweets.

Hi Everyone! Please add me to your group. I started on 1/4/16 for the second time. The first time I jointed MFP back in 2013 I lost 89 lbs in 8 months. But then my husband got sick and it has taken me 2 years to get my willpower back and get motivated. Needless to say......I gained every bit of that back. This is going to…

I started late January of last year and was doing so great. Even lost 82lbs. Then my husband had heart failure on Sept. 5th and I had to give up on me and spend 100% of my free time with him. I watched what I ate and did good up until the holidays when all the stress finally won over and I gained back 20 lbs. My new years…

I restarted today after a 3 month (not intended) break. Last year I lost 82 lbs. in 8 months, but then hubby got sick and I had to make time for him. Hubby is still sick but I need to make some time for me! Hoping I can do that good again in 2014 with getting the weight off! Add me!

LOVE this! Your exactly correct. LOL

I am a strong believer that walking works. Due to a knee injury a long time ago, I will never be a runner. I started out in January not being able to walk for 10 minutes without a bunch of pain in both the hips and the legs. Now 6 months later I walk 7 miles a day, everyday! Get yourself a Fitbit or something that counts…
-
Fantastic job! You are looking so much younger and healthier. WTG!
-
I am a walker and LOVE it!!! Started 6 months ago and could barely walk a mile in 25 minutes during the whole day. Now I walk a mile in 18 minutes and I am up to walking 7 miles a day!! Cannot run because of car accident when I was 18 years old.

When I first started MFP, I read you are supposed to drink half your body weight in water a day. Another words take your body weight and divide it by 2. That is how many ounces of water a day you should drink. I have stuck to that and it works.
-
You both look fantastic! Congratulations on a job well done.

Congratulations! You already started. First, by realizing you need to change and second by wanting to change. As everyone stated, start small baby steps with everything so you don't burn out. Change one thing a week. Read, read, read the blogs! Don't compare yourself to others as everyone is different. What works for one…
