  • MAYBE every 4-6 months :( We really don't have family close by, my in-laws are about 45 minutes away and we ask his mom to come to our house to stay with them well in advance...his parents like to go out as much as a young couple, so they are always on the go. We have 4.. 17,13, 6 and 1....NOW...once in a while we may need…
  • Hubby and I have 4 kids (17,12,6 and 1)...seems like we always have activities...but MOST nights we have dinner as soon as hubby is home from work, around 5-5:30...we had to turn the "formal" dining room into a toy/family room for the kids long ago. We have a large island in the kitchen that we have 3 bar stools, then we…

  • I have the One and love it. Had it about 3 weeks now. I have the app on my Iphone 4...which will sync with the computer, but the Fitbit One and Iphone 4 do not actually sync between the 2..must have the 4S or better for that. • I'm one of those people eating 1200 a day and I am not hungry..I can fit a lot of great things in for 1200! And I exercise everyday and don't always want to eat those calories. I see a lot of people on here say you shouldn't limit yourself to that. It's been great for me. On Saturdays, I have something of a treat meal. I…
  • If I take a vitamin every day, I get kidney stones!!! I got them every time I was pregnant and taking prenatal vitamins and no other time...thought it was due to pregnancy...later when I started taking a multivitamin while eating healthier, I got kidney stones again! • We have been to the gym together, have ran together and he wouldn't have any problem doing workouts around me...but when I am doing like the 30DS or something, I don't want anyone around...not even my 2 teenage sons..my younger 2 kids like to get in the way...lol I get mad if the phone rings...lol I'm not afraid of…
  • Same advise here....processed foods like the hotdogs, prepackaged meals, snack crackers, fruit snacks....you should really try to avoid that. I don't use butter on toast or to cook eggs. Your sodium will improve if you get rid of a lot of those things. I LOVE pickles, but had to kick those to the curb...Then you have to up…
  • This is exactly what I was going to say!!! Hubby thought it was kinda strange when I did that once...if I HAD to eat out..this is what I would do...lol

  • We have a family of 6...with 2 teenage boys. We budget $300 every 2 weeks. That includes household items. We probably spend an extra $20 or so if we need to restock fruit, milk and bread through the week. We don't buy much in the way of snacks. We eat out once a week usually...and the cost of that depends on where we are…
