My co-worker is going to "bulk up" by eating lots of protein, but he doesn't think he needs to work out. The protein will just build the muscle for him.

The video discussed that there was a strict zero tolerance policy. She has to do the 4 mile hike even in the rain, snow, sleet, whatever. They restricted her diet to 20 grams of fat or less a day. I'm not saying that is bad. I'm just saying that every lifestyle has to have a little give and flexibility. It just felt icky…

I was 16 pounds away from goal and quit. I had lost 84 lbs. I gained back 46 lbs. Now I'm back at it but I'm so mad at myself and full of self loathing.

I binge. I have for years. I've just discovered that B.E.D. is an actual disorder and it's not just that I'm fat and lazy. I haven't talked to my dr about it because I know he will just give me diet pills. That's not going to help whats in my head. I researched OA but the closest one is over an hour away. I came up with a reasonable weight for my age/height/build with my doctor.

I love walking. I do it as often as I can. I absolutely cannot wait for it to warm up here in Georgia so I can take it back outside.

I am one of those people who if I eat just one brownie I'm completely derailed, so I avoid food days all together. I just don't participate. You can choose not to participate, it's just a matter of choosing.

I talked to my dr. He took into consideration my build. age, the fact that I've had children, and my height which most charts don't. I recommend next time you go to the doc you talk to them about your "goal".

Excellent advice and so inspirational. I lost 84 lbs between Jan and Sept last year. I've gained 24 lbs back, but I'm back to losing and will lose the rest of my weight this year and I'm never going back to where I was.
