I'm a very/big/out of shape runner - 50 pounds over my old running weight. At 280 I don't like the pounding running is taking on my knees - so I fast walk instead. When I drop 20 I'll try to get back to running - but only via the walk and jog method described by caroline1851 - it's what my father did many years ago…

So...I was too tired to work out today. I sacked out in bed and Surfed around a bit. I read your post, threw back the covers and plodded down to my basement. I just finished twenty mins of stationary bike and 50 pushups. THANKS FOR THE MOTIVATION! !!
