Don't feel horrible. that is a terrible fad diet. It didn't take 3 weeks to put on all our excess weight, so relax and take your time getting it off. You see those ppl who lose 100 lbs in a few months - but their skin doesn't adjust that quick and they have a lot of excess skin. Slow and steady lifestyle choices!

Heck, most people on here think they know whats best for everyone! I have gone through tons of trial and error, so I have a pretty good idea - diet is preference, but working out - almost everyone who says they know what they are talking about on that topic- do the exact opposite for best results ;)

However you are tracking your progress, use the same tools each time - even if it's off, it's a better gauge then using different scales or fat readers

I weigh myself every 3-7 days. Doing it daily you may see the results, but some people fluctuate quite a bit from day to day, so yeah... What is a better measure (if you're also doing weights - which is more recommended than cardio for weight loss) is body measurements.

There is no concret evidence that any one diet is better than others- Atkins diet is also unhealthy due to the amount of meat & fats. It is not a good long term diet, but it is a fast solution. Stay away from highly processed foods and create life changes. We want longterm health, not just short term gains
